Aunchie_Sana Planetarium I don't think of you guys as our 51st state~ I'm not that mean to lump you in with this country. o 3o
And I wish Alaska was a far off island. Keep the crazies away. *coughSarahPalincough*
Hell, I wish we could sell it back to Russia. We got the short end of the deal in that agreement. > .>
You think that buying that winter wonderland was a mistake? Just wait until Global warming really kicks in
Also my name looks so cool! Its still very long though. I thought Japanese was close to chinese and that there were very few characters. Don't get me started on that. gonk It'll be the first to melt, and be the end of us all
Also, what you're referring to is the third writing system the Japanese Language has. (Hiragana [ひらがな] for basic words, partials and the like, Katakana [カタカナ] for foreign words like our usernames, and onomatopoeia sounds and Kanji [漢字] which borrows heavily from the Chinese language, for long and most, words and the like.)
I used the writing system for foreign words. =3 I am nowhere near advanced enough to use Kanji.

I knew they have two alphabets or syllable tables. Historically I think that one was derived for women and the other for men? (the one that is harsher and masculine for men and the one with more curves for women) but I didn't know when they were supposed to be used.

I no, there are some words that are used by men and woman, and the best example I can think of are the particles desu (です) and boku (ぼく)
It's just that, they aren't used much. Like, at all.

Aunchie_Sana So are you still going for History? Is this Japanese classe just an elective? I'm still going for History.
The Japanese class is because I need a year of a language, and I really didn't want to take a "Romantic" language. (Like Spanish or French.)

Je deteste le Francais! Il n'es pas facile!! Espagnol aussi.
I really really really hate romantic languages with a burning passion. Unfortunately, my degree required 4 foreign language classes, and only offers French and Spanish. I'm going to see if the sign language class will count, because after one spanish class and two french classes I'm really tired of this. >.>
