I am 27 years old
I love Red Rose Tea, chai, organic lemon, organic rasberry
I am a web designer, my current project is working on a lolita site
I am going to marry my best friend ( a guy, I have been friends with for 10 years)
I love the Victorian era mostly for the fashion and tea
I listen to EBM music and have been into the rivet head scene for 16 years.
I want to change, but still stay within my goth roots, so I have been researching gothloli and victorian era clothing to purchase, so far I have decided I would be better off making my own clothing, I sew!~
I enjoy manga and watching anime- my fav is Fruits basket and Princess Ai.

Why I joined : I joined because of my love for tea. Learn more about it; types, flavors, tea recipes ~ I would also like to chat with people who have similar interests.
My favorite tea : A particular type of tea I tend to drink is black tea. I do like flower, or herbal teas, but I drink this one the most.
What fascinates me about the Victorian age : I always had this fascination about the Victorian age. The requirements of society, the wit in speech, and the finery of decor; all elegant, all delicate.
Some basic info about me : Well, I have many interests (if anyone wants to know). I have been interested in the Japanese culture, and anything related to that. I know how to build websites, etc. So, you get the gist.
Everything else I want to tell you : Well, I hope we get along~!

Why I joined: Firstly, I love this guild, secondly, I love the captain mrgreen
My favorite tea: blackest tea of all black teas.
What fascinates me about the victorian age: that mass destructive morals and of course the fashion
Some basic info about me: I'm a true Opeth fan and Prog Metal freak, I love concerts and music and hanging out with friends

Ophelia The Suffering Why the heck do poeple keep telling me they joined this guild because they like Emilie Autumn?! What's she gotta do with our Victorian Tea Club?
I should think the answer obvious if you are familiar with Emilie.
But if not, then I would take this time to suggest that it perhaps results from the fact that she is the modern day Victorian girl with a tea obsession, and therefore epitomizes the essence of this guild.
Her fans, as a result, are some of the most likely candidates for such a guild.
{And I do include myself in the previous statement.}

Why I joined:It seems like an enjoyable place, the theme got my atention as well.

I am perfectly aware of the fact that many people associate her with the Victorian Era because of her inspirational area, and I know that some people also connect her with loving tea (which is very awkward to me because thousands of musicians love tea but whatever) and I am a huuuge fan of her music as well. But I just don't get why some people see that as a reason to join this guild. There is for example a wonderful guild called The Asylum for Wayward Victorian Girls (where myself is a moderator whee ) that was made to deal with Emilie Autumn and offer a platform for her fan community on Gaia. So when I go through the applications for our lovely Victorian Tea Club, it just irritates me to read something like "Why I want to join the Victorian Tea Club: Because I like tea and I like victorian fashion and I LOVE Emilie Autumn!". It just annoys me to see that today these complex historical contexts are limited to a musician (who's not even living at that time) associated with a few aspects of this era. Do you get what I mean? She's just not an aspect of this guild's concept. We're here to controversially discuss the Victorian Era and especially honor tea, not EA. She can be discussed in the "Everything Else" Forum, but she just isn't something that belongs into one's VTC application form. wink

I joined this guild because I drink alot of different teas,and love to be introduced to a new flavor.
My favorite tea is vanilla cammommille,plus many others.
Allparts of the victorian age interest me,there is not one specific part that I like.
well I do collect tea pots of all types,and love having tea parties with my friends

Why I joined: Simply because it amazed me that there is a guild about both tea and the Victorian era. I am a huge tea lover and the Victorian era fascinates me for many reasons.
My favorite tea:Green tea and milk tea <3
What fascinates me about the victorian age: The literature (the industrial revolution has changed the face of the novel for good), the fashion (heck, it inspired gothic lolita), and the aristocratic life (clothing, houses, furniture, socials, servants, tea, lifestyles, and all else).
Some basic info about me: I was born in 1991, I love anime and manga, I want to be a very successful novelist and am currently working on the first book in my trilogy, I love Alice In Wonderland, and I draw for fun.
Everything else I want to tell you: I am a strong believer in equality and freedom for all. Despite being so serious about this, I can be fun, wild, and loyal. <3

Name (what I want you to call me!): Victorian Tears Star or Rae is fine.
Why I joined: I recieved a lovely invitation to this guild and simply couldn't resist. A place where tea is but on of many wonderful discussions was so perfect for me.
My favorite tea: I do so love orange spice or berry teas the best. However a sweet herbal or black tea with milk is wonderful as well.
What fascinates me about the victorian age: What is there not to be facinated about? The manners, the speech, the wonderous fashions. The sweet afternoons of tea in the garden or foyer. Sitting through golden afternoons while working away on your chores and hobbies. Such sweet days those were.
Some basic info about me: I think I'd love to have it just unravel. Think of me as a novel the more you speak with me and read the words I hold the more you'll learn of me.
Everything else I want to tell you: I unfortunately fall ill easily and have many health detourants that may get in the way of me being on frequently. Please excuse any abscence of mine for it is likely due to a simple health concern. I beg your indulgence.

Why I joined:Because it seems like now an days the Victorian age and Tea parties have all died out, and i wanted a guild where it was full of people who understood that, and loved it as much as i do
My favorite tea: Sweet tea with just a teeny bit of cinnimon.
What fascinates me about the victorian age: the simplicity, clothing, customs, and of course, TEA PARTIES
Some basic info about me:i love to write stories, because when i am writing i just sink into my stories and i feel like i am the person that all these amazing things are happening to. my imagination, is THAT BIG. Also, music is my life. i have been in chorus for 3 years. i have played Snow white in the school play, still wearing thast costume too. XD. though my favorite kinds of music are rock, and pop, i sing opera the best. i know im a WEIRDO
