Sometimes I wish I kept a handwritten journal but I don't think I could stick to it.

i started writeing a journal off and on in the 5th grade... it started just to writethe dirt i had on people but soon i just started writeing abot my life.

I started writing in journals when I was about six or seven, but when my parental unit found one and started reading it I flipped out , but I kept on writing. After that I took extra care to hide em so she couldn't find them. I've been writing in them pretty regular since then. I just recently got into the online journal thing and I don't care if anybody reads them now. Well..you know what I mean. You don't put seriously personal things in an online journal. biggrin

I started keeping a journal three years ago. I was a sophmore in highschool and just got into a car wreck. With no transportation I was on the internet a lot more. A friend introduced me to melodramatic.com which was this blogging site where you can get points and s**t. Well I signed up thinking it was stupid and ended up addicted.
From melodramatic I transfered to livejournal, from livejournal to myownjournal, I became a mod on myownjournal, then I finally left myownjournal for a new blogging site my friend is setting up mychain.com
I use the gaia journals basically because I'm an admin on mychain.com and sometimes I want to rant about the dumbasses on mychain without having a billion entries of how I the terrible admin is abusing my power.

I've kept a diary since I was in 4th grade. I had diaries previous to that, and I still have them, but I was not consistent in my writings in then, and the writing skills shown in them are very weak. I am 14, and I have kept an diary since 4th grade.
I started an online journal (one that I actually updated) when I found Gaia. I had a few blogs, but I always forgot to update.

I did have a couple journals when I was little,but I rarely wrote in them and when I got older I threw them away. I can't stand to read stuff that I've written years back. I like my online journal a lot better and I hope I don't end up deleting it.

I've had journals sinse I could write. My earliest is probably a kindergarden picture journal that I did on my own. My mom came up with the idea when I told her how frusterating it was to try to spell the words I wanted to write. It's really cute. My picture journals slowly evolved into the more common, text-only journals that everyone else keeps.
At one time, I had two online journals (an lj and a xanga) but I guess I kind of let them die. Now all I have are my good ole pen-and-paper journal and my Gaia journal.
