The cheerleaders at our school act friendly with us. However, some people in the guard (not many) think the cheerleaders are just suck ups. I could really care less.

Actually I take that back. Tonight's game (we won, but I wish I could go too the next game crying ) we acted like cheerleaders ourselves to see what they would do. blaugh They stopped cheering as soon as we started. The whole team did a pyramid and the wave. xd

Hmm. Our cheerleaders are nice (at least the ones I've talked to). But they do tend to get territorial. Like once, a good portion of the school was outside in the morning to send off our volleyball team to nationals, and we were out with the band doing routines and dances and such.
WELL, in our dance to 'Smoke on the Water', we do a bit that the cheerleaders do too. They were just standing ther, not really glaring, but staring with malicious intent.
We did the fight song next, and they lined up right in front of us to do their routine. I swear, I almost hit one with my flag. On accident, of course. wink
I don't know. I think they should try out a flag before they snob it up.

at my school, cheerleaders hate us and we hate them. they down-talk us and say we're wannabe's, we down-talk them and say they're like us only skankier. aside from the occasional nice cheerleader (one even wanted to be on guard), its pretty much a hate-hate relationship.

Actually guard and cheer/cheer and song get along very well, speaking of which, the two groups are going to Disneyland and do a parade in a few days, so woot!! wish us luck !!! smile

We got one of our cheerleading friends to join cadets this year, and she's coming back to be in varsity! I was really happy about that, and we could use the gymnastic skills. See? Not ALL cheerleaders are too bad... ahaha xD

We dont really get along with cheerleaders, see, When I couldnt get a move 'cause the flag kept throwing my blance off, and I kept falling they were all sitting at a table pointing and laughing at me : ( I only met one cool cheerleader but she graduated this last year. : (

Yeah... I think there is this un-spoken dislike between us and the cheerleaders. But its nothing too big, I don't think. But our cheerleaders are kinda nice, actually. I remember one year they gave us cupcakes...? It was strange; I'm not even sure if it really happened. *lol*
But here's a interesting story: there was this one girl that really none of us liked. She was way too hyper and made really stupid mistakes without thinking. She had to do so many spins... *lol* I tried to be nice to her, though like I always do. 3nodding Needless to say, she quit. Good riddens! And now she's on JV cheerleading squad.. I'm sure they can keep-up with her. XD

no one around here knows what guard is.
everyone is into high school football (we were on ESPN... Varsity Inc.) so of course everyone likes cheerleaders and dancers.
i dont like cheerleaders. just in general. sure they can do gymnastics, but so can i.
we have more respect for dancers cause that takes a little more work than going "GO TEAM GO". although our dancers do nothing but high kicks all the time. (and i have friends who are dancers, so yeah)
basically...
cheerleaders = ick.
dancers = ok.
guard = so cool that everyone else is too unworthy to know of us.
c'mon now, gotta be optimistic! xD

omg some of the cheerleaders in my school are so annoying. So the guard used 2 have practice in the aux gym, b4 we got promoted 2 the real gym rite?and the cheerleaders had practice b4 us, but they always went "a little overtime" with their practice, soit cut into our practice and we had less time to do everything. plus it pisses me off how my school counts cheerleading and dance as sports, but not guard. the guard 4 my school gets NO money whatso ever. I remember the cheerleaders were "cheering" one time, it was really annoying so the whole guard started screaming and cheering to get them to shut up.
