"You may decide you don't want that thing soon enough. Anyway, follow me. I'll help you out here."
She made a motion above her shoulder, signaling for Izumi to follow, as she sauntered towards the forest edge surrounding the ruins of Kioku.

she walked in to the forest with fyala, "is it safe out here?" izumi asked

((Sorry I was gone for so long. College is tough. O.O ))
"Yeah, ya might need it," Fyala shrugged, "But I'd put it away 'til then. Doesn't make for easy traveling when you're holding it."
She put her claw-like hands back behind her head, sauntering forward as if she was walking through some lazy village rather than the debris and destruction piled up around her.
"Safe? You could say that. Depends on what you mean by safe, though, really." She gave a smile and a little bit of a hard laugh but didn't break her stride.

"Huh...?" Fyala stopped, letting her arms drop and turned to face Izumi. Although only her eyes were visible against her solid black body they were full of confusion.
"Wha..." she continued inarticulately, "Eat? No... I mean not like... Er, can't...?" The mumbled mess came out sounding more like a question than a response.

izumi turned her head to the side a bit, and said "so, if i got this right, you said: no i can't eat. is that right?"

Fyala shook her head, acting a bit more naturally again - well, naturally for her at least.
"I can't. Well, not like you, anyway. But if you're hungry you ought to go ahead and eat. I'd hate for you to get hungry while we were in the forest." She gave another toothy grin, revealing her pointed teeth once more.

"Oh, good," Fyala nearly laughed, her shark-toothed grin returning immediately, "then just follow me into the forest! It's getting late, after all, and we shouldn't stay here."
She motioned for Izumi to follow and took off running towards the edge of the woods.
