A while later, the bell rang. Lili rushed out the room, headed for her next class. She entered the room and sat down quietly. "Just a few more hours," she thought, rolling her eyes. She sat up straight once class had begun.

Haruhi's eyes closed as she listened to Kazuki's words, a tear secretly rolling down her cheek.
Fly freely...with nothing and no one holding you back...
She smiled, reopening her eyes as she chose not to speak. She smiled while gently taking the hand extended to her. She looked up into his eyes happily, though she couldn't help but cry. Finally she had been with the person who left her so long ago, and now he was leaving her once more. Though she was happy to see him off, it saddened her to know that he would not be with her.
"You're an even bigger pain in my side," she laughed.
As she stood up and looked into his eyes, she continued to hold onto his hand, weaving her fingers through his. She let out a breath of relieved air.
"But I wouldn't have it any other way, Kazuki-kun."
Taiga watched with touched, tearing eyes as she still held onto Okami.
"So...so...so touching...Haruhi-chan..." she sniffled, wiping her nose against Okami. "She's starting to be more like the person she wants to be...

Akira smirked as Mizuki rubbed her cheek against his as well, seeming to have had a good day. He wrapped his arms around her a little tighter, finding the opprotunity to roll over on top of her. He looked down at her, his smile expanding as he made sure not to crush her with his own weight. He looked between her eyes, a way of checking to see if he was moving too quickly. He lowered himself slowly until their noses were touching, his eyes closing.
"I am now," he finally replied in a whisper.
Holding himself this close to Mizuki, Akira's eyes slowly opened when both of their cellphones began to buzz in their pockets. Without breaking his position or taking his eyes from from hers, he pulled the cellphone from his pocket and tossed it onto the floor. His hand found it's way to Mizuki's hip, sliding down to her thigh and over as he pushed his hand into her pocket and removed her cellphone. He tossed it onto the floor after his.
"They're calling us in again," Akira explained coldly. "But I don't want to go in right now."

"I'm not some sort if tissue you can use..." Okami glared at Taiga as she wiped her nose on him. Chiaki giggle a little at this and then turned his attention back over to Haruhi and Kazuki.
Kazuki gave a gentle smile as Haruhi waved her fingers with his. His regret for leaving her again was lingering but it felt as though she was reassuring him that she would be okay.
"I'll come back to you, I promise," Kazuki said as he put his forehead to hers and looked into her eyes."That is, if I'm still wanted."

Mizuki gave a giggle as Akira rolled on top of her to reassure him he was not crushing her and to show she was fine with what he was doing. When the phone's started to go off, Mizuki just gave him small glare before her eyes lightened up again as he still focused on her well he removed her cell phone from her pocket.
"What a mood breaker..." Mizuki sighed as she wrapped her arms around Akira's neck breaking their stare off and tilting her head to the side as she kissed him.

"SHHHH!" Taiga snapped at Okami, smacking his face with the back of her hand. She went back to crying, using him as a tissue. "You're ruining the moment."
Haruhi felt her heart skip a beat as Kazuki smiled at her. Reflexively, she held his hand a little tighter. That was the smile she had wished to see for so long, and now he was finally giving it to her. She couldn't help but smile back, her cheeks turning pink as he put his forehead to hers. The look in his eyes...Haruhi felt her hear hammering against her chest. She hoped that he hadn't heard it.
Tears began to form in the corners of her crimson eyes, and she let out a light laugh before reaching towards him with her freehand.
"I know you will," she whispered, her hand on top of his heart. "You will always be wanted. Always."
Even if your heart doesn't want mine...
Haruhi's eyes slowly flickered to the hand she was holding, then to the heart her hand was on. She looked back into his eyes, her grip on him tightening ever so lightly as she tilted her head to side. She closed her eyes, gently pressing her lips to his.
Because I love you, Kazuki-kun.
Taiga suddenly jumped onto Okami's back, covering his eyes in a failed attempt of covering her own as she gasped in shock.

Akira felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand as Mizuki let out a sigh, her hot breath pressing against his neck. She suddenly wrapped her arms around his neck, and he felt as though everything she touched tingled. He almost lost himself in the thought of being so close to her, almost letting his weight completly crush her. She tilted her head to the side and Akira understood where this was headed.
"You're sneaky," he smirked before her lips met his.
He closed his eyes as she kissed him, not daring to kiss her back. He decided that he was going to let her dominate for the time being, use him in the way she wanted. Though without his mind's permission, he found his hands making their way to her hands at her sides. He firmly grabbed her wrists and slid them along the couch, pinning them above her head with one hand. He used his other hand to keep himself from falling on top of her. He couldn't take it anymore. He wanted to kiss her back. He wanted to hold her. He felt the arm that was holding him up trembling. He was going to give in.
"Akira!"
He let his lips unlock from Mizuki's the moment Ziro's voice reached his ears. He regained control again. He slowly opened his eyes into a glare, staring down into her eyes as he wondered what she was thinking. Ziro landed on his shoulder, his arms crossed as he glared at Akira.
"Duty calls, Akira sighed, closing his eyes as he limply dropped himself onto Mizuki, pressing his cheek off her shoulder.

Kazuki Heart raced as Haruhi had put her hand to his heart. Now for sure Haruhi would know just as nervous he was as she was. He started to panic a bit already asuming what Haruhi was think. He swallowed hard now listening to Haruhi's reply.
'Can I really go though with this even though I'm not in character change...'
The full shock came to him when her lips touched his. Kazuki's mind went blank. Unconsciously he grabbed onto Haruhi's hand that was over his heart and with his other hand that was weaved with her hand he released the waving and grabbed Haruhi around her waist, pulling her even closer then she already was and kissing her back.
Chiaki just tilted his head to the side and smiled in a giddy manner now.
Okami on the other hand was dealing with a happy giddy Taiga. "You know I can still... Okami started but stopped as he fell over onto his face after seeing Kazuki kiss Haruhi back like that.

Mizuki gave a sinister smile as the kiss was broken. She licked her lips as she eyed Ziro and just giggled."Ruining my fun is never a good thing, now I'll be in a bad mood the rest of the day," Mizuki said as she bit her lip. As Akira dropped onto her, Mizuki just eyed him now as if saying 'If we are going to work then lets get it over with.'
Koko came into the room again and went for Mizuki's cell phone picking it up off the floor and then flying over to her. "Kojin says he's not coming he's to tiered from the transformation you did this morning," Koko told her as she set the phone down on the edge of the couch and looked to Ziro.

Haruhi sensed his nervousness and became even more nervous herself. She felt Kazuki's heart fluttering away as though it was just like hers, hammering against his chest. He would try to understand what she was thinking, but he would not succeed; love was a game of give and take. The moment her lips brushed hips, she felt her face warming and the hand on his heart beginning to slip away. It was a numbing sensation; that feeling where you're so happy you can't even feel. Your body reacts in a way that confuses you and you can't control it. She suddenly felt him removing her hand from his chest and letting go of her other hand, only to wrap his arms around her waist. She fell forward and wrapped her arms around his neck out of instinct, falling into the the kiss that was now his. "O, Kami-sama..." Taiga mumbled to herself in a hushed surprise, her jaw dropping and her arms dropping to her sides. She shook her head, rubbing her eyes to make sure she was really seeing what she was seeing. She blinked in confusion as she looked back at Okami. "When did they learn to...to...TO DO THAT?" she yelped, pointing at Kazuki and Haruhi. "I know that they kissed each other during a Character Change, but like Hell they remember that! They used to be innocent little kids playing on the swings, eating shaved ice, chasing each other...and now they're connected at the mouths?!"She looked back to reassure herself of the scene before her, her eyes widening as she spotted a tear rolling down Haruhi's cheek...the smile on her face. "It's their first kiss without a Character Change. They're really being themselves right now. No one else. Just Kazuki and Haruhi."-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x- Akira felt his chara's glare from his blindspot and he couldn't help but groan in irratation. He pushed himself up from the couch, one arm on each side of Mizuki like a cage as he sighed while looking down at her. "Yeah, yeah, yeah. We hear ya, we hear ya," he grumbled. "Duty calls."Ziro closed his eyes, his arms still crossed as he felt Koko's stare heading towards him. "There's a time for work and there's a time for play," he lectured coldly, knowing that the phrase suited Akira and Mizuki so well yet meant absoulutely nothing to them. "May as well get the work out of the way."Akira's eyes were forced into a lazy look as he leaned over, letting himself fall off the couch and over Mizuki. Ziro lifted himself up and floated towards Koko, still with his eyes closed. Akira landed on his back with a 'thump', holding his cellphone in his hand with his arm swung over his face as though he was trying to cover his eyes to sleep. "May as well. Let's go."Ziro's eyes narrowed angrilly, still closed as silence took over the moment. "Then get up!"Akira slowly made his way to his feet mumbling, "Cursed piece of crap contract that signs away your soul," to himself as he pushed his cellphone into his pocket. He shook his hair out a bit, his cross airings dangling from his ears and glistening in the dim lighting. He looked to Mizuki and said, "Ladies first."

"I'm sorry for leaving you again. I hope that one day I won’t ever have to leave your side again. When that day comes, I'm never letting you out of my sight again. So, please be sure to stay where I can see you," he had said quietly though firmly, his eyes saddening before the last word, “Haruhi.”
Haruhi’s eyes slowly opened as sunlight hit her face, only to look out the window and at the clear blue morning sky. She blinked, her lips parting ever so lightly. She felt her fingers twitch as her arms rested at her sides, her body under the covers of her bed.
“Kazuki-kun...”
Her eyes watered as she said his name, finding her arm lifting itself up from the mattress, her hand extended towards the window. Her fingers uncurled as though she were reaching for the sun. She blinked, a tear rolling down her cheek as her arm dropped back down to the mattress. She took in a deep breath through her nose, then releasing the air as she closed her eyes and rolled over.
Yesterday wasn’t a dream; it was real, she decided, her eyes reopening. Stop pitying yourself.
She suddenly pushed herself up from the mattress and climbed off her bed, grabbing her school uniform from her chair as she ran to close her bedroom door. Haruhi began changing, wearing a firm smile on her face.
You have nothing to be pitied. You are very lucky, so be grateful for what you have been given and for what you had the chance of having.
She brushed her hair rather recklessly, tying it back into a high-ponytail, her bangs falling and framing her face. She turned to her mirror and smiled.
She grabbed her schoolbag from her chair and ran down the stairs, beginning to hum a familiar tune as she waved to her uncle and cousin before leaving the shop. Smiling happily, Haruhi began to run to school while laughing. Her heart felt warm as though it were fluttering. She felt as though she were flying.
And smile.
When she had reached the school grounds, Haruhi slowed down to a walking pace while laughing as she caught her breath. She waved to classmates walking by and looked up at the sky when she had the chance. It was such a beautiful day, and she knew it was going to be a good day.

Akito walked to school slowly. He looked down at his feet as he walked and he had his sweatshirt's hood over him. He was wearing mostly black clothing as usual.
I wonder if she'll be at school today.
Akito turned the corner and saw the school. He picked up his head and pulled off his hood. As he did this something flew by his head at an unreal speed. As he saw it fly he realized it was an X-egg.
"Already!?" Haru said, annoyed. He began to chase after it without looking back to see if Akito was following him.
He did though, Akito quickly followed behind. Strangely he felt some sort of motivation for catching this egg. He ran as fast as he ever had before, catching up to his chara. Haru was surprised to see Akito running. He smiled a bit and then-
"Character Change!" Haru said happily.
Akito stopped in his tracks. This confused Haru but he waited for a response, "A-Akito?" Oh no what did I do!?
Akito lifted up his head quickly and began to run at super speed. As he ran he pulled out a large dark sword from the air and then jumpped. He was above the X-egg a bit when he slashed the large sword down tawords the egg, holding it with both of his hands. He missed and landed on the ground.
"Eeeeek!" The egg flew faster tawords the school.
Akito followed it quickly with his eyes and then he spotted Haruhi.
"Catch it!" He yelled, not even realizing who he was yelling at.

Taiga yawned as she fell out from Haruhi’s school bag, rubbing her eyes as she flew and sat on her master’s shoulder.
“Morning already?”
Haruhi nodded to her, opening her mouth to speak, when suddenly Taiga’s eyes snapped open as she jumped off of Haruhi’s shoulder. She pointed to Haruhi’s left.
“Haruhi-chan, prepare yourself!”
“Eh?”
Haruhi turned her head to see what Taiga was pointing at, but Taiga called out “Character Change” the moment she laid eyes on Akito.
Her eyes widened before a gust of wind blew, her eyes suddenly hardening. She listened to Akito’s words, lunging towards the egg with open arms. A smirk spread across her face when she came close to grasping the egg, but it flew high into the air when it realized it was being attacked from behind.
Haruhi fell forward, rolling into a summersault to catch herself. When she rolled back up, she didn’t realize how close her face was to Akito’s. She turned around quickly, her teeth clenched together as she kept an eye on the egg.
“Damnit.”
Taiga looked back to see Akito and Haru, wondering if it was smart of her to force Haruhi into a Character Change. She probably wouldn’t act herself now around Akito because of the change, which was bad considering what had happened between the two. But Akito was in his Character Change as well. Taiga’s eyes flickered to Haru’s.

Haruhi was standding directly in front of Akito facing the other way. Akito used this to his advantage. He jumpped up a bit and lightly landed on Haruhi's shoulder with one of his feat as he boosted himself from it, jumpping high into the air and raising his sword. He slashed at the egg, missing intentionaly. While it was surprised Akito grabbed the egg, spun around and through the egg tawords Haruhi, hoping she would understand what to do.
