Story:
The story starts you out as Desmond Miles who is kidnapped by an organization. They have the technology to use DNA to go back to the memories of that person's ancestors ("stimulate the recall of ancestral memories buried in the user's DNA." -wiki).
Abstergo, a man who works for the company and is holding Desmond prisoner wants him to go back into his memories and play the role of Altair. One of Desmonds ancestors who was is in the "Assassin Brotherhood". He desperately wants something or some information that is in the memories of Desmonds ancestor. But in order to get to that certain time, they need to start from one memory to the next until they reach their goal.
Gameplay : Action game (?). It's an action game where you can run around and complete certain events. You can also interact with people and travel to towns...so adventure kinda game?
Basically you play as Altair back in the past when there was war going on.
Altair is given missions one after another and has to complete them in order to continue with the story.
The game is quiet realistic with really wonderful graphics and camera views. Like Altair jumping off a building is pretty cool. There's also real time action fighting.
Basic Controls
Sprint: You can run really fast by sprinting but can also crash into people.
Normal run: You can run normally in the game.
Push: You can gently push people out of your way to pass through crowds. (Pretty cool)
Weapons: Altair can fight well with a sword. He also uses a smaller weapon like a hidden knife/dagger.
Abilites: Altair is very flexible and acrobatic. He runs fast and can just from building to building. He's amazing at climbing and rolling. Also superb at finding places to hide to be stealty. I'm surprised this amazing character can do all that and is super fast...yet he can't swim. o_o'
Available Mounts: You can also ride a horse in the game!
Battle System:
Real time fighting and relies on stealth fighting a majority of the time for assassination missions.
Altair can fight well with a sword and is very acrobatic. As you progress the story he becomes stronger.
Some missions require finding places/assisanting using stealth, or following someone to intimate them or steal back specific items.

This game is AMAZING! It really did get high ratings and it's fun to play through also with the graphics. When we had first gotten the 360 this is one of the first games me and my sister got and it was addicting. The only thing that really brings it down a bit (why I didn't give it a 10 basically) was b/c the missions were repetitive. It was always, kill this guy, kill that guy, steal this, steal that. But beside that...it's worth the buy!!
