Well it seemed as though it was 'problem solved' now that his little estrogen-poisoned man-mate was toddling over to hang with him. Which was nothing bad, really. Not like they'd be doing anything.
Too many babies in the way of such a thing anyways.
But once Vincent was settled he flopped his arm gently across the boy's (ah ha ha) shoulders and again settled into his covers to go back to sleep. Now hopefully there wouldn't be anymore wakenings and they'd both be able to sleep so they could have their epic "MAKE BREAKFAST" quest the next morning.
Which would turn out disasterous if someone was grumpy.
But as long as he got to sleep now, all would turn out well enough. In fact, things were already well on their way to getting there as the sicky baby faces were already leaving him alone.
Certainly there was a little greasy-faced cat in their place.. ..
But a cat's health wasn't his fault or something he'd have to suffer the results of.

Oh, blast it, Pooky's foolproof plan had gotten itself all befuddled and fudged up-- and by the hand of his darling marbled soul mate, at that! How could dear, sweet, pure manly Alex possibly betray him like that, showing such intimacy and affection with that wretched excuse for a little... well he CERTAINLY wouldn't use such a graceful term as male with that awful figure, but!...
RrrrrrRRRrrrRrrRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrr... It was difficult to contain the snarlwheeze of disdain as mucous green eyes glared on from beyond, sniffling sullenly before he turned to resettle on the porch.
His plans had somehow backfired horribly and just driven the two undesired parties even closer-- literally!-- but he wouldn't be deterred just yet.
Tomorrow, then. He'd end his victim tomorrow after the sun set.
But for the moment, it seemed that Vincent would be able to finally relax and sleep the rest of the night away, breathing a sigh of relief he probably wouldn't admit to and letting himself get all nice and comfortable (more than it probably should've been) to drift off...
Maybe if he was lucky, that'd be the last sickly-child-and-suffocating dream of the night.
... He wanted to at least be SEMI-rested for breakfast stuff in the morning.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzz...
