Seamus sniffed, putting on an offended air. "There's no sense in convincing you. It will only add you to the mix, and quite frankly I don't know how I'll handle any more women. Honestly, it's quite exhausting." He gave another sweep around the owlry, ensuring Figaro's absence. Glancing down at his watch, Seamus gave a look of surprise noticing it wasn't there. He patted his pockets, still nothing. Giving a sigh he asked the girl, "Do you have the time M? I'm pretty sure I left my watch in the dorms."

Makala rolled her eyes. "As if," she said slightly snappish, wrinkling her nose. "I don't tend to become a 'fangirl' for anyone. No matter how 'impressive' they may seem." She flipped her chocolate brown perfectly curled hair over her shoulder, giving off the air of a girl that was not amused at all. But then she couldn't help but giggling at the fact he had discovered he had no watch. Her own wrists were bare, having yet to find a good enough purpose to wear at watch 24/7. Time, to her, didn't matter much. "Can't help you, sorry. I don't happen to wear one."

Seamus frowned deeply. He always had to know what time it was, it was just a quirk. He hoped he had left it in the dorm though, as it had been a gift from Jana, and she would personally come to Hogwarts and tear his arms off for losing it. It was something Seamus loved about his younger cousin, who was more like a sister. He relaxed his mouth and sighed. "Ah well."

Makala shrugged lightly, glancing back up at Harra. She had fallen asleep, as was obvious by her head tucked under her wing. She looked back at Seamus. "Shall we wait for your owl, or go look for your watch?" she asked. She didn't mind either one, though was beginning to run out of things to say.

Giving a last look around the owlry, Seamus replied, "Let's go look for the watch then, no sense in waiting. He'll get here when he gets here. Too much fan mail, like I said." He turned and gave the younger girl a wink. Waiting for her to say her goodbyes to her owl, Seamus stepped over to a window, and gazed out into the sky. It was a beautiful view, even if the weather had been fickle lately.

She laughed lightly and went to stand beside him at the window, shooting her sleeping owl one last glance. She looked out the window a moment at the view. It truley was beautiful - in any weather, it seemed, she couldn't help but stare a bit. If one were to observe her on a day she was alone up here, gazing out the window and lost in her thoughts, they might start to see the qualities she usually hid from others. The kindness she hid to keep from getting stepped all over, the concern she hid to keep from being called a "Muggle-lover" or something similar. All of it seemed to show on her face.
She tore her gaze away before she could get back into one of those trances, and forced a small smile. "Well where should we look first?" she asked, turning so her back was leaning against the wall. "Dorm, I suppose?"

Seamus gave a quick nod. "I'll catch hell if I don't find it. So dorm's a good enough place." He knew his mum would be upset, and though she wouldn't tell him outright, he would be a victim of the guilt only mothers could evoke. Although it wouldn't last very long. She adored him after all, he was her only child and sole heir. He stepped to the doorway and swept out a hand, gesturing for Makala to go ahead. "Ladies first."
OOC- dorms then?

Makala walked over to stand in the doorway, then turned back to him, an apologetic look on her face. "Oh, I'm sorry. Perhaps the oldest lady here should go first," she said in all seriousness, though she was joking. She laughed after a moment. "Just kidding, just kidding." With that she walked down the staires and toward the Slytherin common room.
OOC - Yeah. Sory it's taken me so long to post, freakin crazy life sweatdrop

Anna let out a deep breath as she entered the Owlry. "Finally," she murmured to no one in particular, slightly out of breath from the long trek up the stairs. You'd think that being on the Quidditch team on living on the seventh floor of the castle would get her more in shape, but no. 'Oh, well.' She thought, mentally waving it off. She had a reason for coming here, after all. To see her beloved owl.
"Tyto~" she cooed softly upon locating the barn owl, shuffling quickly up to him and stroking his breast feathers softly. "I've missed you." She told the owl quietly, smiling at him from beneath a few stray strands of hair. With her free hand, she moved them behind her ear and resumed her stroking of him, this time with more attentive caresses. "How've you been?" She inquired of him, giggling softly when he hooted, as if he actually understood her. She'd always loved that about him. He was so cocky, he thought he was a wizard.
