Danny's hands fell down as he felt Lizzy beside him shouting his name. As he turned to look at her, Darla's image appeared before them all and gave them a message.
Then she gone..
Danny looked down at Moto's dead body as he shook his head side to side. "He tried to kill me ...." he muttered before turning to look at Lizzy. "Are you alright Liz?" he asked, reaching over and placing his bloody hands against the sides of her face.

Ron could barely fathom what was going on as he watched the innocent appearing Darla shine before them before disappearing. "It's over.." he muttered as he reached into the collar of his shirt and pulled out a wire from within. "Mortimor is dead, along with Mary Higgens and a boy named Chris, all apart of the murderious plot to kill Darla Banks and get away with clean hands."
He looked over at Danny and Liz, but before he could speak, he removed the hidden cassette player from his coat pocket and pressed the stop button. "Caroline said you had nothing to do with it," he said speaking to Danny who looked at the detective.
Danny's eyes lowered. "I didn't kill that girl Ron, I swear to you on that."
Ron nodded. "I'm convinced you didn't. If you had, you wouldn't be here." he said taking a deep breath. "But I still think you knew all along that Moto did it, if not the others as well."
Danny looked back up at the detective and said nothing.
"I don't want to know to be honest." Ron said bending over and picking the gun up. "I've got a s**t load of paperwork to do already." he muttered. "And I've got a little girl's body to retrieve from a lake, so I suggest you take that baby Moto and Mary had and get as far away from here as you can."
With that Ron turned, got into his car, and left.

Lizzy smiled gently and nodded as Danny held her face with his bloody hands. "Yes, I am okay," she said softly as she reached out and touched his face.
Her gaze turned to Ron as he spoke to Danny. She stayed quiet as she listened to the two of them. As soon as Ron was gone Lizzy turned back to Danny. "He's right," she said gently. "Let's just go and get all the baby stuff from the house and get out of here. I don't---I don't want to stay here longer than we have to."

Caroline paced the room nervously, wringing her hands. She had been doing this every since Ron left. She ran a hand through her hair as she looked to the front door, expecting Ron to walk in at any moment. What she didn't expect was to suddenly see Darla standing in front of her. With a yelp she jumped back, her eyes wide.
Darla held up her hands in a surrendering position. "I am not here to harm you," she said softly. "I am here---to apologize and tell you that it is over. Moto is dead--my murder has finally been avenged. I am sorry--for what I did to your brother. I was so angry and all I wanted was to find the right person responsible. I do hope..that you can come to forgive me."
"I..told the detective where to find my body. I will both you no longer. You will never see me again." She shimmered once more and disappeared.
Caroline's mouth hung open in shock as she sank down to sit on the couch. It was over? She shook her head slightly. She wouldn't believe it until Ron came walking through that door.

Danny stood up and faced Lizzy. "Alright," he said in a whisper. "I just need to do one thing."
Danny walked over, his body tense and stiff with not only fear but sorrow with what had just happened. Underneath Mary's body, Danny reached up and managed to pry her free from the branch with a sickening slop. He craddled Mary in his arms he began walking back to where he had left Lizzy. "He was still my best friend..." he sobbed as tears filled the brims of his eyes.
He knelt down and pushed Moto onto his back before placing Mary against his chest. Danny worked on rearranging Moto and Mary until the two appeared to be holding against one another, his eyes flickering over the engagement ring upon Mary's finger. He had helped Moto pick it out only days before.
Danny reached over and closed both of their eyes shut before he stood up and turned back to Liz. "Alright, let's get the hell out of here." he said as he gently took her hand into his and began walking back to the car.

Ron felt nauseated but managed to find himself parked in front of his apartment's complex as he opened the door and stepped outside. The fresh air hit his face and helped as he stumbled up the stairs and to his front door.
"Caroline?" he called as he opened the door and took a single step inside the building.

Lizzy watched Danny with tears in her eyes as he went and took Mary off of the branch. "I know honey, I know," she said softly as Danny spoke of Moto. She reached forward and wiped the tears.
Her eyes caught the glint of something on Mary's hand and she took in the engagement ring on her finger. A sob caught in her throat as she looked away.
"Yes--please," Lizzy said softly as Danny took her hand in his. She squeezed his hand and leaned against him as they both walked towards the car.

Caroline jumped up from her seat as the door opened and she heard Ron call out to her. She ran to him and threw her arms around his neck, hugging him tightly. "Thank goodness you are okay!"
She pulled back slightly to look into his eyes. "Is it true? Is Moto dead? Is it all over," she asked quietly. "Darla..she came to see me..she told me. She looked so different--so---happy."

Ron took his coat off and dropped it to the floor beside him as Caroline flung herself into his arms and began hugging onto him.
"Moto's dead, Mary's dead, Chris is dead." Ron said as he ran his hand against the back of her head, stroking her softly. "Darla said the only one alive is a girl named Victoria, but it was all Moto she was originally after." he spoke softly. "She came to us too right after it happened."
Ron pulled his face away and looked at Caroline. "I promised I'd be back, and here I am." he said with a small smile.

Caroline smiled gently at Ron as she nodded. "Yes you did promise that you would be back." She placed her hands gently on either side of his face. "I am glad...that this is all over." Caroline leaned forward and kissed him softly. "Now we don't have to worry about anything trying to get at us through reflections."

Ron kissed Caroline back as Nanook came running out from the bedroom and began whipping around their legs excitedly.
Ron looked down and chuckled at Nanook before he looked back up at Caroline. "Nothing but our own self images." he said before taking Caroline into his arms and dipping her backwards into a more romantic gesture before his lips stopped an inch from his own. "Boo." he whispered before closing the gap and kissing her once more.
