You really can't compare them because in reality they are two different genres in their own right. Psych is funnier in my opinion, and I would have to choose Psych, but look at it this way. Monk is about an OCD detective and all the mis-shenanigans he gets into because of said OCD, but the show focuses more on the case, and how Monk gets impaired (for example, when he's on the submarine, he thinks he's talking to his shrink. Can't remember his name. He took Kroeger's place) while psych is more easy going on the viewer, and it's more "Hey, just sit back, don't worry about the case, we'll do that, and give you a few laughs along the way...now have a pineapple."

Kitsune-chan64 lolwut. Anyone notice how Shawn has great hair? I think that makes Psych the better show. Great hair makes everything better. EVERYTHING. Shawn does have great hair. But Monks hair is curly-ish, so it deserves a few extra points.

well, I watch Monk the most and Psych well what can I say. It's funny but hmm.. I would go with Monk.

I like both of the shows, but Pysch is my favorite. It's super funny and the characters sometimes act super dorky. Dorkiness rocks xd
