Naomi's eyes falshed "you know it" she flashsteped thre times in a serpentine fashion. "watch out!" she said as she swung at the commander's daughter.

Being skilled in tracing lightning and its origins had its benefits. For one, it was simple to predict one's path for flash-stepping just by judging forward fluctuations of reiatsu. Yoriame smiled, and turned to face where Naomi might be headed in terms of flash-stepping. The sound of a 'watch out' confrimed her location, and as such, Ame drew her blade approximately one-fourth blade length to block Naomi's attack. She was successful to some extent, being able to block most of the incapacitating force, but she was not able to handle the sudden force on the broad side of the blade. She staggered back, being caught off guard for a small moment, then tried to focus back on Naomi, drawing her blade back into the sheath.

Naomi was successfully knocked back. "I forgot that you could do that. Guess i should step up my game" she said. She ran head on blade drawn. "Trace this" she thought as she jumped up and pile drove down on her.

Ame didn't know what to make of the situation: Naomi jumped up with a forward lunge towards her. Was it a trap? It would be all too easy to just sidestep and counterattack, but she knew that Naomi was smarter than that. She decided to take her chances: the forward momentum of the strike would either lodge it into the ground or cause Naomi to stagger, so Ame sidestepped to avoid the initial strike. Immediately afterwards, she stepped forward to come in striking range, drew her sword rapidly to gain momentum, and attempted to strike Naomi with the hilt of her blade.

"fell for it" naomi thought as she used her shunpo to get behind her. Naomi's blade rested on Her opponent's shoulder partly as a tease and partly as a threat. "didn't think i'd mix methods huh?" she teased just before she tried to kick yoriame backwards.

"Urk..." Ame said, as she realized the situation she was in. Unable to do anything, save for take the kick, she found herself on the ground before anything else could happen. She was caught off guard for one of those rare moments in her life, and she laughed out loud. "Just like old times, friend." She got up quickly, dusting off her battle attire, and drew her blade with one hand and held the sheath in another. "Come on, now. No holding back." She lowered her center of gravity by spreading her feet apart to make a firm, but mobile base. She secured her sheath wielding hand by tying its waistband around her wrist, and held her sword with a firm grip. "Let's go." It was a favorite of the japanese swordman Musashi, dual wielding with a seemingly harmless weapon in one hand and a piercing on in the other. Both of which were lethal when used correctly, however, the conjunction itself had its flaws. Ame smiled, then began to course electric reiatsu throughout her body, causing her nerves to be at its peak performance.

"so be it, don't tell anyone about this," Her reiatsu sparked and her hair lifted as if a cool breeze passed from behind her. Her uniform began to shift and move as her pink reiatsu glowed like a raging fire and she whispered softly,slowly, and calmly the two words, "Ignite, Enhasu." her blade burst into flames and revealed a claymore with the kanji blaze engraved on it just above the hilt. "Scorching lotus" she said as a few lotus shaped embers appeared in the and then spread out like a wild fire. The wave was sent forward with her slahing of the bulbs. "Escape my sky singng fire, child of rain." she said as she sat her large balde on her shoulder.

In the time that it took Naomi to fully bring out her shikai, Ame already coursed reiatsu throughout her entire being. Should she choose to bring out Denkeimaru at that moment, she would be able to do it in a moment's notice. She began to build up the reiatsu within her sheath-wielding hand, causing an excess to leak out and form a sphere of sorts, but in turn, toasting her palm as more reiatsu is built up and charged. "Miedo!" In the same manner an arrancar fires a bala, she clenched her hand into a fist and discharged the electric ball. Unlike bala, however, the reiatsu and electric-based discharge is able to change its trajectory midflight, in essence, it was locked onto both Naomi's reiatsu signature and electro-magnetic presence.

Naomi knew she couldn't avoid it but she could counter it. So, she used her signature technique. The blade focus, She lifted her sword up and pointed the tip towards yoriame's attack, The kidou sparked and crackled in her hands. It made its way down the blade as she said. "hadou no yon, Byakurai." the energies crashed together and the force knocked her back and off her feet. She managed to somehow push herself off the ground and flip back to her feet trying not to provide any openings. Her attack wasn't the best idea but it was efficient. "sometimes i swear your power remind me of something scary" she whined as she waited for Naomi's next move.

"To find the enemy, you have to be like the enemy." Ame said, simply. With this, she disappeared in what appeared to be a spark which soon dissapated. "Behind you." A voice said, and Ame appeared directly behind her, swinging the sheath at Naomi in hopes of incapacitating her in some way.
