Axel and Riku came out right in front of the pristine mansion. As the silver haired teen took in the foreboding structure his mouth fell slightly open. The Nobody strode up to the door confidently and proceeded to carry out his plan.



Krad looked at Dark for a second, grabbed his arm briefly, then turned back to Sora and Roxas and smiled almost warmly. "Of course they can stay. It's apparent that you two wouldn't if we said no," he said with a knowing look. "And as for getting in, they should have no problem. The door's almost always-"

The blond was interrupted by a loud 'bang' and the door in question flew past the open door that led to the entryway.

"Open," he finished with a sigh. He glared at the opening as smug redhead and an exasperated teen walked into the dining room. The vampire began muttering to himself about repairs.

Axel's gaze met Roxas' almost instantly and he smiled as everything suddenly felt right. "Hey Roxas. Did ya miss me?"

Krad shrugged lazily, picked up another marshmallow and popped it into his mouth with a faked nonchalance. "I think I'm going to see how this plays out. A break from the monotony will be a welcome change, don't you think?" He smirked and there was a small hint of mischief in his expression. "Besides," he added, "Who better to be guardians to in-the-closet gay boys than gay men?"

Axel embraced Roxas lightly, while Riku recovered from being glomped by Sora. He got up and brushed himself off, but not before giving the brunette a sincere smile.

The redhead turned to the vampire and the werewolf and smirked. "You must be Dark and Krad. Thanks for taking such good care of Roxas and Sora. We'll just be going now."

He gestured to the other three to follow, but as he turned to walk through the now doorless frame, a pale arm shot out in front of the Nobody and halted his progress. Krad had crossed the room in seconds. "Where the hell do you think you're going?" the blond asked in a calm voice. "You break my door, stride into my home without any qualms and then try to kidnap my adopted sons? I don't think so. You're all staying." He removed his hand. "And you're paying for that door."

Axel considered for a second, took a look around, and shrugged. He turned to Roxas and said, "That takes care of the housing problem."
