I would have to go with James too. I mean there was so much to discover and learn about him in 2. He seemed like a good guy who just wanted to get to the bottom of this weird journey, but boy were we in for a wild time with him.

Well, like I said, it's pretty much the game with the biggest amount of symbolism that would take the cake, for me.
I like character depth. And even though we know what James did, and what happened, there's still that air of mystery lingering around him. Which I love.

Vincent's my first favorite, not only is he dark and alluring, but I love that little mind game he played with Heather.
"They looked like monsters to you?"
Henry comes in second, not just because he's attractive, and sure he may seem excessively lethargic, but there's also a very sweet, compassionate side to him.
I also noticed he's the only character to not have a seeded past, he just happened to pick the wrong apartment. XD

I would have to say James is my all time fav male character in the Silent Hill series. 3nodding

Well, it is the deepest game, meaning the deepest characters. The game is like a combination of a Dali painting with T.S. Elliot's "The Waste Land."
