Hey guys, in the spirit of making the guild more active, I've been thinking of having contests. What do you suggest? Who, other than myself, would like to judge contestants? What kind of prizes should we have (Evolving items? Monthly items? Combo of both for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places?) What kinds of contests should we have? Should we display the winner's concepts (such as AMV's, Art, Writing at the convention in September? Or on the website?
I've been thinking of setting up a mule account, too, so we can have a cache of gold to buy prizes and what not. If we do have contests, I'd like to offer evolving items to the winners, but is that such a good idea? I don't mind spending a little Gaia cash, I've poured enough money into the PR for the con itself.
Come on everyone, let's brain storm xd !

talnari forsaken OMG YES!!!1! I heart prizes.... I think maybe we should do Art and Writing contests, maybe get some people interested in those areas of the guild. I'll set a mule account here maybe tomorrow and talk to Berz about helping me out a little. Seems some people were interested in the cosplay avis thread too.

Well all I have to say is
"All your base are belong to us."
Oh, and, Even if I'm a crew member, if theres a writing contest can I still enter. Writing stories and poems and such, is of the few things I do well.
