Then I don't suggest trying to learn a language through the military. This place is more stressful than basic. There is another thing. Don't join the military.
I eat stress for breakfast, lunch, AND dinner.

Haha, my mom tells me that all the time.
I don't plan on joining, anyway.
But, certain military people make me mad. Mainly everyone who's under E5 and complaining about their pay rate.

Kinda for more personal reasons and vendettas...

I'm E-1. Can I complain?
Actually I was so happy a week ago because I got my 4 Month-in-service pay raise. Then the E-6 in my class shot me down saying she was getting her 16 year-in-service pay raise. XㅁX

As for that chick who shot you down, I now dislike her with a passion. (>...<)
Oh! She can't say anything -- my dad got his 20-something year in pay raise, and he's...well...

그, 하사님은 재미이에요. She's kind of like my mentor in class, and as much as I hate to say it, defends me from the E-5 marine sergeant in my class. She's trying to get me to start standing up for myself. I can make the snappy comments, I have the ability, I just don't in front of people I don't know very well.
As for my paycheck, I really don't complain. I may be E-1 and making 800~ a month, but I also don't pay for food or housing. Everything I pay for are things I want. Can't wait for my promotion to E-3 though in July. Go from my Current 1.3k/month base pay to 1.5k. Kind of hard to complain about something that was your driving force to join the military.
