you have to go back to a certain level in the game after you beat adventure mode to unlock Toon Link

Somehow, Toon Link is a really great character. His d-air can kill enemies on the ground and is a quick meteor to kill enemies off the edge. Both his down smash and forward smashes are great kill moves. I love this character.

You can unlock him by Playing Classic with link i think.

Leprechaun Taint NekkyoMaster Yeah, his name is Toon link... so I think this Topics name should be changed. Has anyone seen his final Smash? Since he's a clone it's problably Link's FS. I personally am suprised he's in. I wanted someone else from Zelda. To tell the truth, he kinda scares me. his final smash is the same as links he charges at foe triforce appears hit him loads the whack him of stahe

They already know what it is.

I may be wrong but I think you unlock him by doing something like 400 or 500 brawls. Or, get 100% on SSE

Guess I never tried Toon Link for real until recently. He's a lot better than any of my previous mains. It's like going life without your dominant hand then realizing you've been working too hard. rolleyes
I still like the Pikmin series more. Just that I'm a whole lot better with Toon Link.
And Link is too slow for me, obviously. Like he has rust in his joints.

TL is cool if you shuffle his arrows it can be really hard for the opponent

He's a clone, but it's not a Dr. Mario situation.
At first, he's easier to use than Link, because his arrows go farther, he's lighter and has better jumps, and his bombs have a large explosion radius.
But if you practice enough, Link can be used to be much better than Toon Link.

i like him better than normal link, also he doesnt use kicks in the air, he uses slashes. just to add to isaacs post

i started out playing link then when i unlocked Toon link i decided to main him instead
