radiohead yet again have proven their music credibility with "in rainbows" so much so that in my personal opinion that they've surpast the likes of pink floyd, velvet underground, and r.e.m.,artisticly wise. when you think about it every single album they've released since the bends has gotten critical aclaim from fans and critics alike.
i think that if the next two albums they make even come close to what the likes of kid a or in raindows have done artisticly then we'll see them in the likes of cream,hendrix,zeppelin,beatles...and dare i say it bob dylan.
i know this just sounds like fanboy gushing but they seem to be moving into "real" new territory musicly.somthing that might help or even cause another culturial revolution...

Seriously, 5 straight album of acclaim is ******** hard to do.
R.E.M: almost but Fables of the Reconstruction and Green sucked balls compared to the 2 released before each.
Velvet Underground: had four, Lou Reed outed and some guy put the same name on a complete s**t album.
Pink Floyd: Never thought they had a good album anyway
So yeah I say they beat them. And I would go into details on how they beat the others you mentioned, but I don't want to sound like more of an a**.

Yeah, I agree. Except comparing Radiohead to those bands makes me want to shoot myself.
