"Back to this predicament again, are we not?" stepping forward amongst Tau stood a familiar figure. He still had his shaggy black hair and he was adorning his red bucket hat and baggy jeans again. The only thing missing was the red coat he was wearing the last time he had meant the warrior. The stranger took a step closer to Tau, and eyed his closely, "The years haven't treated you nicely, have they?" the man sighed.

"Your the one to talk." A smiled formed on Tau's lips. He grabbed a can from off his belt and tossed it at the man. "My treat." He said taking a sip from his can.

The stranger caught the can and examined it briefly before taking a drink from it. Years ago he wouldn't have drank the alcohol, but things were slightly different now. "It seems like you've lost something again. At least it's not your identity this time." he took another sip from the can before handing it back to Tau. The man was once again acting as a guide to the veteran chaser, but something seemed...Different about him. Things had changed. That was obvious. "Tell me, what have you lost?"

"I've lost my way and my friends." Tau said, taking another drink form his beer can. "And something else, but I can't put my finger on it. I find this place very familular, but yet I don't recall ever being here before." He said looking at the guide. "Take it," Waving the can off. "Maybe its something that I'm suppose to help you out with." Tau make a chuckle.

"...I can help with that." drinking the rest of the alcohol, he discarded the can onto the sandy beach before drawing his slender sword- nothing about that had changed. He twirled the blade around a bit before stabbing it into the sand, and summoning what looked to be a black hole. "That will take you to them. If I'm correct, they should be in Traverse Town...Maybe." he scratched his head and then pointed to Shin. "Take him with you. He'll be of use." the stranger frowned a bit, and took a long look at Tau. "Maybe you really are supposed to help me...When you meet with your friends again, there should be a newcomer- a young girl. Watch over her for me. She is my..." he closed his eyes, "She is my daughter."

"I promise that I will watch over her with my life, Sonata." Tau swore, finishing his drink. "Lets go Shin." Tau said and prepared to jump through. "Rest easy, Sonata." Tau smiled and with a step through the portal, he was gone, now only Shin was left to step through to Traverse Town.

"Thank you...I think I just might." he took off his red bucket hat and bowed his head down slightly to acknowledge Tau. His face was smiling with ease now, and his eyes seemed to have a small glow to them. Once all was done he took his sword again and seemed to disappear into the island. All that was left of his trace was a soft melody that trailed behind him. Sonata Harwell was gone.

Shin stood in front of the gate.He was standing there alone."Traverse Town,huh?Guess I'll be meeting the Chasers sooner than I thought."He looked up at the sky."Hopefully nothing bad will happen when they see me.Eh,Ryo?"Shin asked aloud.Smiling he stepped through the portal.
