My cat died on Wednesday, but I only just found out because I've been gone at a camp for awhile. She's been really sick for awhile, so I knew it might happen and got to say goodbye and all, but I till miss her. I'm worried about my older sister, too, because I don't think she knew quite as much as I did about the possibility and my parents never really warned her because they didn't realize they needed to. She was really close to the cat, and was pretty upset about it.

Yeah. The only other close pet I've lost was when I was really little, and he ran away so there was always that 'He's probably okay and taking care of himself' outlook on it. This cat was older than I was, though, and I've been with her my whole life.

Aw sorry, ive had a few pets as well but not anymore. Ive outlived all the hamsters ive ever had, my dog we all had for years run away, and my mum recently got rid of the two cats we had sad Which is a shame, i loved my wee kitties, even though they weren't so little, we had one since it was born and the other since it was fairly old.

yeah, I out lived my hamsters and cats too...I really want to get another hamster but i don't have time to take care of it...they're so irresistibly cute!

Ah yes, the unconditional love of pets, unfortunately I haven't experienced it as I've never had any pets unless you count the humans I got in chains...
Cheer up, do some kinda ritual to absorb the soul into a bottle or other flashy container and put it in another cat! 3nodding

sticking the bottled soul of a former living thing into a presently living thing seems difficult too...
