He glanced over at her and saw that she was more or less terrified. He placed his hand on her shoulder and gently squeezed. "Hey, it's okie. Nothing happened to us, so don't worry so much. Alright?" He said as he took his hand and playfully ruffled her hair. He then took a plug out from under his seat and put it into the lighter plug and took the other end and slid it into his cell phone.

Her body jolted in alarm at the touch, as she lifted her head and looked at him, her eyes wide. For a moment she was silent, staring. Then her head tilted, looking out the back window. "...a-alright, sorry." She took a deep breath and tugged off her hat, running her fingers through her hair. Then she placed it back on her head, and bit her lip to keep from spouting off more questions.

Alex sighed as they pulled up to the safe house. There weren't any zombies around from what he could tell. As he looked at what was suppose to be the safe house he flinched. It was rusted here and there, and there were holes every now and then, not big ones, but enough to fit your head or arm in. There were some old stairs leading up to the roof. From what he knew, they couldn't climb stairs, but he could always be wrong. "Alright, we're going to go up those side stairs. Something doesn't feel right to me." he said with a grim look on his face. He didn't want to scare her any more, because it seemed if she did, she'd go into shock or something.

She looked over the "safe house" through wide eyes, examining it closely. It didn't really look at all safe to her... She bit her lip, keeping her legs pulled to her chest with one arm, the other grasping the sword that was in the seat beside her. Her whole body was tense, shaking lightly. She wanted to go home... But the last she'd seen of it, there were zombies swarming the base. She sighed, hugging the sword and her knees a little closer to herself. She almost didn't want to get out of the car. But soon enough, he suggested that they leave, and head up the stairs, and the suggestion was followed by a comment that made her tense up again, staring at him anxiously. "Wh-why not? What's wrong? I-is something already in here?!" She cut off her questions, swallowed, and took a deep breath as she tried to keep herself from panicking.
