fallenseeker princess lolifoxxx Ffaux Pas Well, my flatmate insisted on proving to me that playgirl is better. They weren't all hairy, but asians and pretty boys really aren't my type, so I don't think your recommendations will help me much. ;] Asians and prety boys are the way to go. One day I intend to become a kidnapper in Japan or Hong Kong. talk2hand QFT. Asians of any gender are acceptable to me. You forgot any age.

It's one of those trends that I not only don't get but refuse to follow because it's a trend.
That and I'm so much into the c**k, just sayin'.

At least, that's what my friend calls me. He says I like Japan WAY too much. which is stupid. Because you can never like Japan too much.

The fanboys and girls drive me ******** nuts. Weeaboos, wapanese, whatever you want to call them. And now the terms are overrunning roleplays. If there's a homosexual character involved it's suddenly yaoi, yuri, shonen-whatever. When they're not really even interchangeable. People who know a few phrases they've picked up from anime and manga and over use them? Or use them like they actually know what they're saying? Ugh. It's just one of those bandwagons that bother me, like being bi because it's cool. Now we all just adore Japan.
There are plenty of countries and cultures I like better. But that's just me.

Hmm...I'm torn. I love plenty of Japanese things, but to be honest, I hate the Japanese fanboy mentality as well. It the same with the anthropomorphic subculture. I don't have a problem with those who like "furries," but when it becomes a subculture, its annoying. In fact, any "subculture" that derives itself from something that doesn't necessitate by nature a camaraderie or a lifestyle is really just annoying to me.
As far as being bi because its "cool," I would have to disagree with you, Ffaux. I think that has more to do with the fact that its become a great deal more acceptable to be bisexual, which, as a bisexual man, I have no quarrel with. I'm sure you all realize what a small percentage of the population is fully heterosexual, if you don't, google it. Its tiny. What is wrong with those people wanting to explore a part of their sexuality that now, in reasonably recent times, it is actually acceptable to do so?

You don't need to tell me about how much more acceptable it is now, or advise me to look up my facts. I know my facts and have done my fair share of activism, debating, and volunteer work.
I'm not talking about people who're willing to experiment now, but the number of people who claim to be bi, if only online, because they think it appeals to the opposite sex. I know a good number of people who'll kiss members of the same sex to get attention. It's kind of sad. If you sincerely like both genders, good for you, but it's more than just a growing acceptance.

I would like to state, however stupid it may sound after ffaux's last post, that my girlfriend is indeed bi. I have her previous girlfriend's phone number to prove it. It's kind of strange: I never gave much thought to the bisexual community until my Thanksgiving Break. You see, I spent an entire night with about 5 bisexual girls, my straight cousin, and a lesbian named Jennifer. I would add the two perverted brothers, but frankly, their not really noteworthy. After that night, my thoughts on things have really changed. Like what it would be like to be bi, and what my friends would think about it. Of course, if I brought it up with my close-minded friends, they'd probably gang up and attack me for being able to ponder things that might not ACTUALLY HAPPEN. Of course, that's just the place I'm stuck in. Good old backwater town of Entiat. I hope you burn in the next mountain fire.
I apologize for getting off subject, but if I recall, this is the rant subforum. My point is, I have only recently been introduced to the bi community, and now I am learning more and more about people faking it, people who actually are but won't admit it... and, most importantly to me, the fact taht my girlfriend and I might meet up with her old girlfriend some night over Winter Break.

I'd also like to point out (because I do so at least some time every day, and have neglected to do so so far today) how far away we've gotten from the original topic, which was about why playboy is not as great as everybody seems to think it is. Just thought I'd say something about that. It's strange the way some conversations can go.
