I personally wouldn't say epic folk, because their use of power and orchestras isn't anymore than that of other bands, but I'm not ruling it out entirely. Besides live, all their corny-ness goes right out the door.
what d you mean besides live? so live is or is not corny?
When they play live their corny orchestra arrangements are barely heard, so they sound much more aggresive than they do on the record, where the orchestra overpowers alot of the metal riffs.
