Brown hair swaying in the wind, rider and pegasus moved quietly through the forest. The big beast shook his head, whinnying at the sound of wingbeats. Above them glided a creature. The girl couldn't quite pin it out at the distance, but she knew it couldn't bad if they hadn't attacked. Sighing softly, the girl mounted her partner, and closed her eyes holding tight as the great white beast lept into the sky.

Hawk's dark eyes searched the forest until he spotted Nithhogr and Maya. Brook and Flame shifted besides him. "Now!" he growled, and flew up to the two with Brook and Flame behind him.
