the goblin razed its shied to deflect the blow only to have the shield bashed into its side there was a snap but rurik didn't notice as razed the sheild to his face to protect it from the goblin's spear.

the spear bent then broke in the goblins hands and rurik smiled "Now Die Fiend!!" he yelled out as he pushed the goblin back and charged him ramming a shoulder into it's chest.

goblin defends
the blow was weakened by the goblins light armor but no less through the goblin away but not before it bit at rurik's head and hit him with the broken stick of its spear.
