once in the village akani headed for the market place where most of the people were. she sighed and headed for one of the less crouded booths.

Morik stayed slightly hunched, keeping his arm and face well out of sight as he followed her deeper into the maze of people

she frowned after a bit, "i dont like people eather but that doesnt stop me from buying supplies... what are you doing, who are you hidding from?

He looked around warily and whispered in her ear

she frowned "very well but can you please look over the items. there must be something on the list that calls out to you, i didnt even come to buy anything for myself and already i have three new books, and a set of throwing knives. you havent even looked at a single thing." she looked around then smiled "besides, the people are to distracted to notice one man."

she smiled and wandered from booth to booth making sure not to touch anyone as she went along. she didnt cloak herself or try to disguise herself but it was easy to see with a trained eye that she was worried about something involving the croud.

There was shouting from behind her as a stall caught fire, a rival merchant taking care of the competition

she watched a second then closed her eyes and said a word. a figure out of water crawled out of a nearby barrel and walked for the fire it hezitated then threw itself into it causing the fire to dissapear with the sound of sizzling. she sighed and hoped nobody had seen her do it or heard her summon the water golem.

A good fourth of the crowd looked in their direction, the spellcasters, mages, and bards picking up on magic almost instantly

she was prepared for that. she had learned young how to sheild herself from the magick sight nomatter how strong. to them she was a mere human and all traces of her magic were gone. she looked around as if to look for what the people were staring at then shruged. she turned to morik "i have one or two more things to get... now that the drama is over." she whent to a booth full of herbal remidies and herbal books.

Several men were chattering to the city guard
"Does she think us dense? We saw her cast, yet she hides her aura like a child?"
There was a hush and a gasp, and frantic apololgies
"I-i-i'm sorry sir, I did mot know she traveled with part of the tower vangaurd"
morik walked next to her, his face still well hidden
"Be careful, the bards can see anything, including my aura. They will not report us, it's not their nature, but they will have you marked now. What are you getting?"

she smiled "just a few things..." she knew the people wernt fooled by her shield but she also knew her act made her seem mostly harmless and a little dense. she dissapeared.

once done she easily found morik again, "ready to go now?" she asked with a smile. she had a small squirming bag and her backpack was full of all kinds of items.
