Rianne walked into the common room after her silent vigil in the Great Hall. When will someone finally talk to me?, she wondered to herself. Walking up the staircase to her dorm, silent tears fell down her cheeks. Several girls coming down shot looks of disgust at her, and a few had a look of pity on their faces, but none approached her. Rianne curled up on her bed, aware that she was attracting stares from her roommates, but not caring as she quietly cried herself to sleep.

"Umm hi. Are you ok? I'm in your dorm. My name's Nicola, Nikki. Please talk to me. It's ok." Nikki sat next to Rianne, trying to comfort her. Nikki always hated it when anyone was crying.

((Thank you soooo much for joining Fairy, <33333 Anyways if you could please read the post entitled "Very importain UPDATE" it would help me very much, and just put in a little post about your character's choice weather to stay the year or not. Thank you again.))

Awakened by the pressure on the side of the bed, Rianne sat up, and wiped the last remnants of tears from her eyes. "Hey... er--hi..." Rianne leaned up against the headboard of the bed. "Sorry about all this... I get, um, emotional sometimes." She softly laughed. "So... you're in Ravenclaw too. Fourth year?"

"Er--Nikola? Are you petrified? Is the basilisk back?! CALL DUMBLEDORE QUICK!!" screamed one of the girls' frantic roomates.
She had been sitting still for a long time.... confused

"Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to scare you but at least you're talking now! I was just a little tired and I, just like my grandpa, can fall asleep anywhere. I'm really sorry," Nicola looked very sheepish about her little, um, problem. "Well to answer your question," Nicola said briskly. "Yes I am a fourth year Ravenclaw. You are too right? Otherwise I'd be in the wrong dorm.... But what where you crying about?"
