Juliart limped into the potions shop, dripping wet from the rain. She shook herself, wringing out her lavender colored hair on the doorstep and grimacing. "Egh...et's really pourin' out there." She said to herself. She absantly reached under the blood stained side of her corset and pulled her bandana out, looking down at the bullet graze wound. "Well, that stopped bleedin'..." The cut on her cheek had stopped bleeding as well, and the rain had washed the blood away. Her knee was burning, though. The fall into the ravine with those bandits chasing her had done a number on it. Not actually breaking it, but it was sprained and swollen.
Juli looked around the shop, her nose wrinkling at the smell, "Hello?" She called, the smoke and smells filling her nose. "Eh, sorry 'bout the water mess..." She kept all her weight on her good leg, favoring the bad knee.

Betwixt the forever living cauldrons and glass baubles, a figure could be seen moving to and fro as it manuvered its way towards the front. "I'm commin!" The tones were clearly female, whatever suspicion of this held by Juliart soon confirmed as a rather mild looking woman stepped out to greet her. "Welcome. I see you've gone and brought the rain in with ye, but c`est la vie...It certainly can't be `elped now. The name is Amber and.." She paused, turquoise optics fixating on the knee. "I suppose I'll be fixin that...Ye don't `xctly look as though you're `ere to browse. Let's get ye inside, shall we?"
Amber moved over to the woman and slid an arm around her waist, holding it firmly while pulling the left arm around her neck. This would only work if the woman let her and cooperated, so before moving the bad leg she looked to see if her help would be accepted in such a way.

Juliart gave a soft smile as the shop owner came into veiw. She seemed like a friendly woman. "Ah, thank yeh. Ets not so bad, jes swellin' a bit." She accepted the help gratefully though, not having to act as if it didn't hurt in front of her Captain. She winced as the other woman's hand grazed her bullet wound and reached down, carefully moving Amber's hand a little further down to just above her hip, "Sorreh, little sore there." She said, "Erm, don want tah be rude or nuthin', but do yah 'ave something tha works pretty quickly? I'm...in a hurry." She smiled, "Though I understand iff'n yah don'. Healin things can be tricky." She said, not interesting in insulting someone whose creations she knew she desperately needed.
((changing how I rp with her, this is much easier than coloring all her speech...))

The woman shook her head dissmissively, obviously not offended. "I `ave somethin that'll get that swelling down within an `our or two. Just come this way." And no ssoner had she spoken than she gently lifted up and away from the knee, supporting that side of the woman's body whilst moving forwards at once to get her to a chair. Once there, she relinquished her hold and moved away, bustling about the bottles. "Lesse...erm..Damiana...Burdock...AH!" A smile played her features as her delicate digits ran over the top of a small vial that seemed to have sprouted vegetation within it.
Amber took hold of it and lifted it from it's resting place, instead bringing the remains of the plant to a cauldron. With one fluid motion she whipped off the top, dropped in the herbs, and moved back towards the woman, kneeling down and inspecting the knee with tender hands. "So...wot caused this, eh? Tis clean enough as is, the rain took care of that fo` me."

Juli sat down, wincing slightly though it felt good to get the weight off of her knee. She watched Amber moving through her wares skillfully. She flinched a bit as the woman went for her injury, but tried not to let it show, "Eh, jes had a run in with some lousy bandits. Fell down a ravine." She chuckled though, "I got out easier'n them."

"I see...Well, bandits can't be `elped, I `spose. I'm just` glad ye made it out alive as you are." Amber relinquished her hold upon the leg and moved back to the cauldron, retrieving a white cloth band and dipping it slowly into the steaming contents. Small green hues of leaves stuck atwixt the fabric could be seen as she pulled it out carefully and brought it over to the patient. She then proceeded to kneel down and wiggle it a bit, cooling the temperature to a tolerable amount before beginning to wrap it around the injured area. "There you are...t`will soothe the swellin and ease the pain. I'll refresh it as soon as it begins to cool down, eh?"

Juliart closed her eyes, "Ahh...that feels really good." She said, smiling softly. "Thank yeh. Yer very good at what yah do." The pain diminished rather quickly, and she visibly relaxed.

It was hard hiding the grin that threatened to surface upon her visage as she shook off the compliment. "Phaw, it's nothin` but a wee patch job. You'll be fine soon enough m`gel. Until then, you'll at least be dryer than you were out in that wet muddle."

Juli chuckled, "Tis true. But not fer long. I've gotta git meh things an git to meh ship. The Cap'n wants tah set out realleh soon." She smiled, "Don wanna git left behind, jes got the job."

"I see..." Amber inspected the temperature of her dressing and gently began removing it. Again she moved to the cauldron and dipped in the cloth, letting it sit for a moment before returning it to where it was needed. The warmth would be good for the wound after all, and Amber knew that if the woman would soon be gone that it would need closer tending to truley work its ways. "Once more back to the cauldron ought to do you just fine, I do believe, and then you can be on your way. Wouldn't want the cap`n sailin off and about without ye, after all, although I could never abide sailin of any sort meself."

Juliart smiled and sighed once more. That heated compress felt so good and melted the pain away as if it had never been there. "Ah, Lady, you are a life saver. I'll be sure tah recomend yah ta the Cap'n fer sure. Maybeh stop by an check out yer other wares when I get back inta port. I'd be good ta have a few things aboard." Juliart said, now looking at the mutlitude of drying herbs and filled bottles with interest.

((I hope you don't mind, but I've got to get back to the Dragon Slayer to set sail))
Juliart stood after Amber was finished with her treatment. "Ah, thank yeh, Lady. 'Ere's yer payment." She handed the woman eight gold pieces, smiling as she made her way to the door, no longer limping< "Thank yeh very much agin. Ah, good, the rain stopped. Gotta get goin!" She waved and smiled, then headed out to get her things and get back to the Dragon Slayer.
