Well, let's discuss about relations when more people are online, you already know my vote about who should coexist with who in case I'm not online.
Now about classes:
Now just because we are calling some western/eastern does it mean they absolutely have to be on that part of the world?
I was thinking:
Centaur, since they are quick, and strong, they would benefit the most from Eastern, no? Same for Dark Elves. Naga could be debatable. Humanity, I believe, should be western, Volacti, I believe, should be able to choose from most except classes meant exclusively for spellcasting. Or ranged combat in my opinion, since they would be highly mobile, and their strength could make them valuable in ground combat. Dwarven I suppose could be western, I dunno, I just think that.
Just a bunch of things that I made up as I went along. xD.

Hmmm... I made a map for all the kingdoms and terrains. (Coming soon. I want to finish them all before I post them.) I guess I could show you all what I thought, and we could work off there. But it uses Kingdom names, not races that live there.

Well, I know you've dropped the subject already. But I don't think Elves and Volacti should coexist together--for the same reasons that Ku-kun have stated earlier. =
So basically, I'd say:
-Human
-Elven
-Volacticus
-Dark Elven/ Dwarfic
-Naga/ Centaur
We can always add another Kingdom (instead of having five. I would personally like to have seven Kingdoms but five is alright).

I mean, 7 kingdoms is a great idea, I'll stick to mine, but if we can't stick with E/V, then I'll go with Pearl and say 7 kingdoms. Why? 'Cuz 7 is a kick-a** Number.

Anyways... to make things a lil more simple... Can a coin be a tie breaker--if no one else really gives his or her piece of mind on this?

No, that was not sarcasm, I do in fact, think the number 7 is the sexiest number there is. Why? Because I'm Christian Adventist, and I enjoy the number 7.
Well, how would we know whoever flips the coin is not lying? Let's just wait for a tie breaker person.

Okay so, Elves and Volacticus are sovereign nations. But they are allied. How's that for a compromise eh?
Anyway, none of you have addressed a certain issue in this thread that needs to be addressed. In our world, the real world, you'll notice that there are many different types of ethnicities for our race. We should probably take that into consideration, meaning that each race will have different ethnicities depending on what part of the world they hail from.
Also, we need to decide on which races will be the majority and which will be the minority. It's very rare that any one place has a good balance of races and ethnicities.
We already know that humans are very diverse and adaptive. But what about the other races? Maybe there could be subsections of regular elves and the other races. And depending on their ethnicity they could have different dialects, holidays, fighting styles, manner of dress, pretty much everything that encompasses the subject of culture.
Wood elves may have some god they worship that high elves don't. Or they may have certain strengths that high elves don't. And vice versa. Region is a key thing when talking of culture and race relations. If one nation has an abundance of fertile lands but the neighboring nation does not they might have been in constant war over the lands just to be able to feed their peoples.
I hope what I wrote isn't hard to understand. lol
