Mahiru set the pinked haired childesque girl off her sholder and set her on the ground, "I just have to pick up my shoe." Which, without notice, was left next to the still lying down Kenpachi. Mahiru knelt down to pick it up. She began to whisper quietly into his ear. Her eyes glew silver. She then stood up. Kenpachi then got up quickly and ran towards his Co-Captain at an amazing speed, picking her up and running off carying the little girl who was complaining that she didn't get her chance to fight. Mahiru smiled and waved," BYE! I'LL TAKE A RAIN CHECK!" She screamed towards the girl that disappeared up the hole.

Mahiru then turned her head towards Byakuya," Now, It's finally your turn..." she said knowing that he had been trying to get in there. "I take it you are the strongest of the bunch." as she turned around assumingly.

Mahiru smiled," Yoruichi was right... You are different from the rest." She then stopped," You're right I'm underestimated. But that's not why I'm fighting. I have bigger fish to fry, and people I care for, to protect." She said.

"My analysis of the scenario that we are in is: A, there is no wind, you just have that naturally flowing wind surrounding you. It happeneds after a few scenes of a show. B, you use mostly words when fighting, and when you are intense in a battle you let your skills do the talking. You're level headed, you smell like Sakura pedals, leading me to believe that you're power involves flowers." She said standing straight.

"Now tell me Kuchiki Byakuya, what can you tell me that you see?" She asked him watching carefully every move, even the slightest eye movement that he made.

During Byakuya's speech Mahiru placed her finger on her chin and listened to his reason," Nailed it." She said at the end. "You're right, my knee is killing me, and my arm... It does hurt. Those damn Arrancar's and their sneak attacks. My reiatsu, yea, I used a bit, don't blame me, I never once fought in my soul form, as for regeneration of my reiatsu, you can bet your a** this stuff replenishes quickly..." She said. She was amazed at how he analysed her so quickly. The redness of her wounds gave it away, as for his in depth watch of the fights and her reiatsu.

Yoruichi watched the two intensely. Byakuya, was taking her seriously. Unlike she had first imagined it, she wasn't sure if Urahara expected him to do so, as a worthy opponent. Yoruichi was suprised, she knew that it would even at best, surprise Kisuke," Mahiru, I trust you to hold on while I go have a little chit chat..." The cat jumped up hole and looked at Kisuke who was poking at the sleeping Ichigo with his cane. Yoruichi sighed," Can't you take anything seriously?..." She paused," Speaking of serious, did you know that Byakuya is taking Mahiru seriously?" She said. Kisuke blinked," Really?" Yoruichi walked over to the hole," I've known Byakuya for as long as I could remember, and this is his serious mode. I haven't seen him like this since Ichigo..." She paused once more and looked over at Ichigo," Speaking of Ichigo... Why hasn't he waken up yet Urahara?" She asked still watching Mahiru with her parephial (Sp?) vision.

Yoruichi sighed," You're impossible. Strong like you? That's why he got his bankai during MY training. You take credit for everything. And Mahiru wouldn't of been able to handle those guys without my training." She said. "I'm going back, I'm pretty sure they are still talking, Mahiru keep supressing her reiatsu, so I will talk to you in a little bit. While I'm down there, you might want to wake Ichigo up so he can see who little Mahiru is going up against..." She said as she once again jumped down the hole.

Mahiru was examining Byakuya and exactly how he was doing the same. He was an observant person, just like herself," I have a feeling this is going to be an interesting fight Byakuya. But I'm sorry it's not going to be very physical due to the fact that I am nothing like Ichigo..." She said moving her bangs over to the side and then looking back at him once again.

Mahiru grimmaced," Flower power? Nice." She then pulled out a lighter from her pocket, "Ignite." The carbon monoxide that had been linguring in the air from all of the breathing that had taken place, turned to a deadly level, with the light of a flame, the entire air became engulfed in flames. As the smoke cleared, most of the flowers being gone, except the ones that were used to shield him from the fire attack, in which she had used her knowledge instead of sheer reiatsu.

Mahiru looked down at her arm. The blood slowly began to spill out. Not enough to phase her, but the fact that she is a soul, and the feeling was unformilliar, intensified the pain. She whiped the blood from her arm and began to think. If each one of those petals were swords, then how could she defeat him. Easily. Sure he was top ranked, but she was over thinking her situation, which was scaring her into irrational decisions.

She had the power to beat him, how and when were the questions she had to answer. How, was the biggest, and when was the hardest. She just needed to figure out a weak point, and when, when he would be open for an attack. She just had to use her head.

And at that moment, the answer came to her. With the right amount of force, she could bring out the worst memory he had. And then with the right amount of reiatsu, make him give up. But he was protected by swords. She had to play her cards right, if she didn't think it all the way through, she could die. And she needed to reach her bankai with the help of Urahara, and if she lost, she lost saving Ichigo, and herself.

Mahiru's common smirk entered her face, "You're smart Byakuya, but honestly now I see what you are doing. Trying to toy with me enough to figure me out." She said knowingly. It was a common thing for someone to do. A good fighter does that, figures out their opponent then strikes at their weakness. Mahiru wasnt about to let herself be open to that. She felt it though, the perfect moment to attack. But she needed time.

He wasn't going to strike her down, because that would end his fun, and keep his curiosity full. Mahiru had to conjure enough reiatsu for this attack and then still researve some for later. She waited, and started to focus and to heal her aches and pain, to open the reiatsu that she was afraid to unleash into her body.
