So we get the joy of six or seven 11 year olds having a sleepover in the living room. I intend to hide in the bedroom with the door barricaded shut. . . . . rolleyes

I know this is gonna sound kinda lame but... Spend as much time with your daughter while she may still want you around... Trust me, I didn't meet my dad till I was 15... Stopped seeing him when I was 16... And I hate him... I grew up to be a cold, heartless, and callous b***h... Maybe that's because I grew up without a father... Maybe it's because I grew up in Southern California... *shrug* Who knows, but you can never be too careful... Neh? Besides, make up isn't as bad as you think... It's quite soothing when somebody else does it for you... Ask my fiance. I've forced him so many times, he's just accepted the fact that I like him as a woman too, and lets me do it. Of course, there's perks in it for him but... *shrug*

As for the makeover though . . .last year they all got little perfume bottles as presents--and spent the night using them as weapons. ("call me a b***h will ya?" *spritz-sritz* "My eyes!!!"). All things being equal, I'll hold off on the makeover until they can do it without leaving me blind and bleeding . . . biggrin
