Robot? But... I thought he was a nightmarish zombie Micheal Jackson impersonator that plagued Dr McNinja's dreams!

Ding!

+1 Point for Dr. McNinja reference.

-0.5 Point, because that was Ben Franklin's clone.

I guess I really just hate the people making robots and clones.

That is true. Kinda takes the fun out of the original. Though, Cloned Ben Franklin was pretty nifty... before he became a psychotic figment of imagination.

Would you put your brain in a robot body? Is that as bad as having a robot version of yourself, or is it more socially acceptable?

I think it would be considered morally objectional by most people, especially if you're doing it to preserve yourself. When you gotta die, you gotta die. Putting your brain in a robot would be like utilizing a Lazarus Pit or taking over someone else's body, or such as that. Only the bad guys do that. You don't want to be like Krang from Ninja Turtles, do you?

Well what about prosthesis? if you got a fake leg, and then a fake arm and then slowly throughout your life got everything replaced by mechanical versions of it because I don't know you have the worst luck in the world. Eventually you could end up just a brain in a giant robot, and your only crime would be well I was in 357 car crashes and the doctors did what they could to save my life.

I believe they would call you a cyborg at that point.

I'm sure at some point they would run out of enough body tissue to attach said prothesis to, and even if they did manage to manufacture a complex neuro-suit for the brain to fit in, the cost would be so outrageous there would be a massive wait list. The only effective organ replacement would be the cloning of said organs, and at some point something that isn't all fresh and new from the tube will give out.

So your number will still come up, and you avoid the "evil cyborg" stigma.

Well, I think that I, for one, will just go ahead and not do the cyborg-replacement-thing. Y'never know, they could hack into your BRAIN from those things or somethin'. 4laugh

They need stickers on driver's licenses, much like the "Do Not Resucitate" ones for the elderly: "No Cyborg Prothesis"
