It could be worse...you could be living in Rolla "My Life is a Rich, Full Tapestry" Missouri.

Rolla: Where the men are men, the women are men, and the sheep are nervous.

Anyone else who would like to hate on Texas is welcome to do it with referenced sources (preferably non-biased sources, such as Encyclopedias) and a bibliography. And no, Wikipedia does not count as a source.

I tend to assume that I am a credible, non-biased source about... pretty much everything.
As is Jared.

Viccy: Being told to go there is starting to catch up with being told I'm going there...

Astral: Instead of hating on Texas I'll say one positive word: Schligdteurbau- aww forget it.

Eri: sweatdrop

Points for Texas:

1) Taco Cabana. The single greatest Mexican chain ever.

2) San Antonio's River Walk. Beautiful. Not to mention the place I want to live more than anywhere else in the world, also in San Antonio, because it is the only single neighborhood with a Taco Cabana, CiCis, and a Cheescake Factory in the universe.

3) Austin. Downtown Austin. The suburbs are crap. I lived there, I know it.

Points against Texas:

1) Cities. Houston and Dallas are goddamned unbearable. I would nuke Dallas if I didn't think that it would interfere with my lovelife by having someone with a crazy view about places being nuked with certain boys therein... And Houston? Gag. No, litterally, pollution, etc.

2) Not cities. Outside of the cities is like, what? Land? More land? Holy empty space Batman!

3) Culture as a whole. They should be there own country. They were their own country. It's how they think, act, talk, and live. Good riddance.

Jon-OH
if we started demanding everyone post using the MLA format, everyone would quit the internet.

hm.

That was the general idea.

Phil: You lost points for not using proper formatting.

I'd refute your negative points, but as it turns out, I've lost complete interest in this argument.

Thaddeus and his mostly "Texas-neutral" stance win. The end.

Yeah, I've gotta say... I find your human borders to be laughable -- except, of course, those that serparate Oklahoma from the rest of the world. Those are very serious.

But in the larger, Earth-from-space context, it doesn't mean anything. I mean, I can go pretty much anywhere I want. I 've been in a lot of countries before citizenship was even an issue.
Also, I hate things that only exist on paper. So unless you build a gigantic wall, I'll probably just ignore you.

The only real problem I have with Texas is that it keeps taking my friends. I don't have a lot to go around.

I'm a woman, don't worry. I'm going to continue taking the stance that I am, in fact, Canadian, and not from Rolla.
