Anyone want to roll me up a character? If you make it I will play it to the best of my ability. Any race/class/background/personality/alignment. I just can't find my books. We've been tiling our house and a lot of stuff is in storage right now in unlabeled boxes... sweatdrop

I take it that I'll have to figure this out on my own then. Munchkin time! Let's see if I still can.

DM starts it off, doesn't show up 3/4 of the time and the players bored on one of the days have a battle to ease the boredom created on a friday night?

Well, I did warn people when I was going to be absent! ((the last couple weeks my mom messed up my computer and the internet refused to connect. I'm on vacation now and have until Thursday night... then off again until my computer is fixed.)) D&D recently came up again at school. The upperclassmen started asking me things (like how bee stings would affect spellcasting ability) at lunch. When they realized I knew more than them, they decided I had been (quote) "geeked at birth" ((well, 6yrs is close enough)) and wanted me to help with their characters. Unfortunately their free period is my elective period so I can't be in the game. I know I'm not a very good DM, but I'm working on it!

I'm back! I got internet on my computer again, so the chances that I can convince my mother to let me off chores friday (or other? or random?) nights is MUCH better. Say when you'd like to meet and I'll try to think something (like maybe a plot) up!

Um... well, I thought I was going to just let the chars decide where to go with it. If It's too structured, I (as a PC) tend to feel like I don't really matter in the game world. However, I (as a DM) may have made the last bit too loose, as it fell apart after I was sick for a week, and then on vacation.
I just thought up an idea, but I'm not sure how to introduce it. Also, I have an erotic schedule, so something like "two hours every wednesday" won't really work. It might be better to decide later meetings at prior meetings (ex. 1st meeting decides 2nd date/time, 2nd decides 3rd, and so on). This way we know everyone can make it to the next meeting, except for emergency or other unexpected cancellations.
If anyone has ideas, questions, or suggestions, please tell me.

I realized that I like gaming IRL a lot better. In threads, people talk over each other, and things get confusing when everyone thinks it's their turn. IRL, I know the people I'm playing with pretty well already, and everyone knows exactly what's happening. I have also realized I'm a terrible DM. Sorry this turned out to be such a big flop, I didn't intend it to be.
Should I just close this thread? I would be totally open to letting someone else run something here, or making it some advice/chat thing.
