******** ******** ******** bust my a** for WTS/SGS. If any of you have tried to get a hold of me in the past few months you know that I am working about every other weekend, as well as getting in at 9 on weekdays and some times staying until midnight. On average I put in 60 hours a week there, and for the past month I have capped my timesheet to 40 hours a week because they don't want me getting overtime.
I was fine with that. I am banking on the fact that when it comes time to get salaried they would take into account that I finish my testing sometimes days before they are due.
Now that we have switched over to the SGS payroll they are saying that contractor paychecks can take up to 30 days to be sent out after they are turned in.
I already get paid monthly. That is a pain in the a**. And now they are saying I might have to go two months without a paycheck? That is bullshit. I hope my bosses can pay for my gas to get to the ******** office, because there is no way in hell I can stretch the 60 bucks I have left in savings 30 days. I have to fill up my car 3 times every 2 weeks, and that takes at least 40 bucks. Which leaves me with -20 for the month after gas alone. Not to mention the 450 I have to pay in student loans and 150 for credit cards.

Yours blows mine out of the water. I could give you some money so you can make it to the next check...but the only problem is me being in MS sweatdrop We could always resort to violence... ninja

How the hell can anyone expect someone to live on paychecks like that? That is all kindsa bullshit. D:<
That really sucks... ; ; I can't even conceive that. If I don't get paid every two weeks at my dinky little job, I would not make it, but trying to do a two month stretch? Damn. How can they even justify something like that?

Sorry to hear that Saint, that really sucks. Although it doesn't seem quite right, hopefully they get it worked out to where you get paid in a timely manner.
On another note, I'm leaving tomorrow to go see Jon-Oh at his graduation from Basic Training. Just wanted everyone to know he made it through and will be headed to his next step, AIT in Texas.

I get paid monthly but I'm spoiled in that I only have to buy my own gas and lunches and make my car payments.
When I do finally go out into the world I don't know how I'm going to be able to handle it...
