He purred at her touch, his eyes lightly closing and his head leaned into it before her hand withdrew.
"We would like that very much, Nailah. We have missed getting to work with you."
He stood up, his tail unwinding form her waist, and took her hand, gently helping her to her feet, and hugging her lightly.
"we are glad you were able to stay in our den longer this time."
He grinned lightly, and then picked Tyler up, holding him in the air, and taking paper and pencil off his shelf and walking with her to the kitchen, to continue learning to read and write.

Pheaura looked at the time. It was best that she left now. She rose form the table. "I am sorry, but I must part from your company for now. I will be back in a few days and hopefully I am feeling better." She wrapped her arms around Kellendel first. The She squeezed Rain tightly. "I will miss you both terribly." Too bad she had ot leave so soon. She was hoping to see a few others before she left. "Tell everyone that I said good bye and that I will miss them. Hopefully I won't be gone too long." She donned her cloak and swung her pack to her back. She opened the door to the manor and took one last look before she left. In the next instance she was off down the road.

Tyler laughed in delight at the height and said "Do I really have to practice?"
"Yes you do." She walked with Cymarron down the hall until she came to the kitchen. It was currently occupied but she simply nodded at the elves and Phea and sat down at the table. "Ok Cymarron do you have anything in particular you'd like to learn?"
Tyler sat down and began to write his name over and over again.

The duet of elves smiled and said their good byes.
"Safe journies."
"Don't forget, if you are in trouble, light the Nelphean signal... Or shout 'Rape'... Both work very well."
"Pleasent hunting."
"Come back alive and well."
"Or we will come looking for you."
"We have friends in high places."
"That we do."
There attentioned turned to the new comers. "Have we meet?" Rain asked.

Elias watched the three pas by him as if he didn't even exist far too wrapped in each other's asses to look at him, But what the hell was he complaning about, wasn't he the same asswipe who flanted Naliah in front of Cym,
It is often through devotion that we loos the ones we love
Elias thought to himself as he walked away from the manot grounds, given Cym and Naliah the finger as he walked away

He titled his head lightly, giving that a thought, a glance at Rain.
"yes..we are the Vah that gave you a tea you really enjoyed we heard."
Before his attention when back to Nailah.
"Expressions of kindness, affection, love and joy. warm welcomings and happy homecomings."
he grinned lightly.
"Or anything you desire to teach us."
He took another drink from his cup that he brought with him, and watched her, interested in learning whatever she wished to teach him. As long as she smiled and was happy with him, then the world was perfectly fine.

Nailah looked at the elves briefly. "I believe I know you are the kin of Nelphean but I haven't yet met you. I'm Nailah."
She turned back to Cymarron. "Hmm well...then she took the pencil from him and wrote:
HELLO
GOODBYE
"These are your basic sayings of greeting and farewell. See if you can sound them out with the alphabet and tell me what they say." she said handing him back the pencil. "Then write them."

Rain peeked over Tyler's shoulder, "Oh, she's the schoolmaster... er... mistress." His mind wandered through a few things. "You should get Nelphean in here. He's as illiterate as... someone who can read peoples minds to read things..." The elf shivred.
"He'd no sooner sit down to read as he would to stand up and cast a simple illusion." Kellendel said. Also becoming interested int Tyler's musings. The two elves towered over him watching him craft his name on the the sheet.
"Isn't it amasing how something simple as writing can draw our attention away from what ever it was we were doing."
"That is true brother, we should work on that."
"Kellendel, the moment you stop abusing you magic, I will stop having a short attention span. We both know my deficincy is caused by relationsip troubles with my mother." Rain said calmly as a warm summers rain.
"And we both know I am just an evil corrupt elf who's mad with power." Kellendel laughed. "We should leave these three to their business, and finish ours. Xail wont be too happy if we leave him asleep to long."
"That is true." The elves turned to the residents. "Well, it was nice meeting you. Oh, names. Hello miss, I am Rain, and this is Kellendel."
"It was nice to meet you, but we shall leave you to your efforts, as we are two trouble makers who will allow you to get no work done."
"You have very pretty eyes."
"Rain, march." The two elves left the kitchen chatting about miscallaneous things in the elfish tongue.

Elias felt the anger flare up in the pit of his stomach, "Okay this is getting ******** stupid!" Elias said as he made his way back into the manor, and straight towards the ktichen, although Elias was slightly angry, hs tempter was in control he was more frustrated. "Naliah we need to talk now." Elias said his voice on the verge of a growl.

He looked at the words, setting hsi finger under the first letter in hello
"heeylo..? Hello!"
His smiled brighty, then went to the next word.
"GudBuyae..? Goodbye!"
Again a bright smile on his face. this was getting easier.
And he picked up his pencil, and in print, wrote the words underneath hers
HELLO
GOODBYE
He turned the paper around for her inspection, and to see hwo well he had written the words out for her.

Nailah nodded to the two elves and smiled shyly at their compliment about her eyes. "Thank you."
She was inspecting his work and nodding when Elias came in wiht his demands. "Why hello Elias. So nice of you to join us. I hope you are well. Now what can I do for you?" she asked clamly meeting his angry gaze with her own steady and unaffected.
Tyler was painstakingly writing his name. He looked up to see Elias come in and said "Hi Mr. Lyus. What'cha so angry about?"
Nailah hushed him with a tap on the paper, telling him without words to go back ot his writing. THen she returned her gaze to the angry man in front of her.

Cymarron's ears flattened at Elias' demand of her. he didn't like the near growling manner he talked to her in. but he remained quiet, though his claws did extend. if Elias was about to have another fit like he did the other night..Cymarron wasn't about to let him start punching holes in more things. besides, that had hurt when he broke the mantle.
"Would you like us to practice our names, Nailah?"

ELias let his anger reside for the benefit of the child if nothing more. "Eh.I am just ebing an old fart, my dear young sir." Elias said with a smile to the boy. Elias turned his gaze to Naliah. "Naliah I know that you don't want to hear this, hell I don't really want to ask it, but I think that this has gotten far enough, you're not helping either of us, by one day carsseinf us and giggling at our jokes and then the next asking us why we could possibly love you." Elias said rubbing his temples, "It isn't fair to either of us and you now it." Elias said as he leaned back against the wall. "I am going to have ask to choose Naliah, tright here and now, no more round around, no more pondering." He said, "That way we can have some closure and try to begging to move on." he said awaiting her answer.

His eyes moved to Elias..and he thought it was rather unfair to push it like that. it was not his place to make that choice, it was hers. But now that Elias had thrown down the guantlet, so to speak, he remained quiet, and waited.

Nailah rose slowly from her chair and leaned foward her palms on the table. She looked him straight in the eye and said "Alright. If that's what you want then sit." She looked at Cymarron and said "Seeing as this concerns you as well, no don't start practicing your names again." She moved away from the table and stood against the counter, waiting for Elias to do what she had asked. "Before I begin I need you both to promise me something. Promise me you won't get angry over my choice. Promise me you wont go and kill each other because you aren't happy with my choice. And finally promise me that you will let what I say be the final word and not try and convince me otherwise." A slight pause as she looked at each of them in turn and she said "If you can both promise me thsoe three things, I'll begin and we can get this whole thing over with."
