Does anyone think schools around the country should start and end at the same time?

Airdweia Well, you do know that it is against my religion to let pocky go bad. So, since you cannot eat the pocky which you have it is my obligation from the Pocky Goddess, herself, to eat it myself. HeHe. I get to go over your house next weekend....and house sit...leaving me all alone in the house with your pocky.... It will be a very religious experience I think. 3nodding

maggie_mae i've been busy with real life stuff....
What has been going on:
School and the fact that I have no freaking clue what is going on with math. I have been staying after almost every day for help. I also had to take on seven web sites on my school page to help out.
My health is like a really bad roller coaster, and when I'm not staying after school, I'm popping pills, hoping the brain fog will go away, which is the thing that has kept me off of Gaia. I have been diagnosed with a really bad case of Candida, the diagnosis of Meniere's Disease has came back, and the possibility of PCOS is rising so I'm testing some meds for that.
If you are wondering about brain fog, it is like a loooooooong brain fart. You usually can't remember what you were going to do, what you just did, or what someone else just did. I start talking, and it's like "wait.... What was I saying?" and then people look at me like I'm stoned or something, but with out the other effects.

it's a horribly campy movie made during the late 70s (i can't remember the exact year. i want to say '75, that'd be mid-70s i guess). it sorta skyrocketed tim curry's career. and it's amazing that it didn't ruin susan sarandon's. also, the guy who played the mayor on Spin City was in it.
the story: normal guy and girl go for a drive in the middle of nowhere. they get a flat tire and walk to a castle they saw a few miles back. the castle is filled with "freaks," the leader of which is tim curry in full glory in drag. but only lingerie and could-kill-you high heels.
it's a movie about sexual liberation, but the dangers of taking that freedom too far and the consequences of what happens when you do.
but it's campy and truly a horrible movie by itself. it's also a musical.
but there's a cult-like following of it. major cities (and even some not-so-major ones) have casts who perform along with the movie regularly. if they're lucky there's a movie theater that doesn't mind the mess and staying up wikkid late on a saturday night. as the movie plays, members of the cast act along. they're big on audience participation. most people go as close to naked as possible. or fishnets and a corset. even some of the boys. mrgreen

maggie_mae it's been really dead in here. i've been busy with real life stuff.... like going to work and sleeping. and trying to get to my doctor about my allergies. i had yesterday off and i called his office.... they're closed wednesdays. so phooey.
the last time i went in i was given about two weeks' worth of zyrtec... and it worked! i could breathe! and now that i've experienced that it's hard to go back to being sniffly and sneezy. *pout* i bought some allergy eye drops yesterday, and i think today i need to get some nose spray. blah.
AND my mother's car has a flat tire so she woke me up at 7:15 this morning so i could take her to work and my sister to school. so i'm all sorts of awake and unable to go back to sleep. *pout*
*does the whiny little b***h dance*

Does anyone think schools around the country should start and end at the same time?That'd either be really convenient or really inconvenient, depending on who's perspective you're looking at it from. Unfortunately, the ones who would think it inconvenient are the ones in charge of changing it, so it's not going to change, at least not with a lot more action. And I don't really think all that would be worth it, to be honest. If we're going to put that much effort into changing something, there are a lot of things in much greater need of change.
