"Right, let's go!" Hiai enclosed team 2, Reks and herself in sand and began travelling underground, like a bubble in water.
"It'll still take a few hours to reach the road, but at least this way it wont take a couple of days instead. I just hope Ryoku is patient enough to wait for us." Her team settled down to snooze as they traversed the desert, Hiai constantly watchful for any obstructions.

Ryoku set up camp for the night, Reks' Team began gathering firewood and some fish, Ryoku sat on a near by boulder staring at the sky."Hope they can survive out there for a bit longer by themselves." Ryoku said leaving the children out on their own."let's see if they can take my hellish training." Ryoku gave a dark evil Grin."bored already..." Reks' team cooked fish and fell asleep after a few hours."Zzzz...Huh? oh sh- where are they, oh they're asleep..." Ryoku smiled a bit, his smile suddenly evolved into another evil grin. A few minutes pass by and the camp was destroyed."ALRIGHT LET'S KEEP GOING!!" Ryoku attacked the two with a barrage of shuriken only to have them deflected.~they're good, great job Reks.~ "ONE MORE!! SHADOW STYLE: MULTIPLE SHADOW SHURIKEN!" Ryoku jumped in the air and began shooting thousands of Shuriken from the shadows beneath him."BLOCK THAT!!" The shuriken were again deflected and returned to their sender."OH SHI-!" Ryoku became pinned to a tree."Damn demons...LET ME DOWN!!!" Ryoku yelled and heard a loud no from the two Gennin.
"Demons..." Ryoku had a river of tears flowing down his cheeks.

Reks awoke, Admete asleep in her smaller form, curled in a ball towards the end of the sand bed he was on. He wasn't surprised by being on the sand, his team had made it to the sand village after all. Then he realized it was dark. Had he really been sleeping that long that it was dark? There was a low almost humming noise and he looked around, seeing Hiai and three younger ninja as well. He wondered were his team was momentarily, and then he realized that were ever they were, they were moving. He focussed a minute, then heard the faint sounds of roots scrapping a wall. He looked around and saw they were in a dome of sand, underground. The roots were form trees and he noticed that they were under a forest, probably heading back to Konaha. That was the wrong direction most likely so he carefully stepped down from the bed, making sure his balance was good enough to stand and take the one or two strides to Hiai's sleeping form, waking Admete who leapt down and stood by his feet, looking up at him. He scrubbed her head and then shook Hiai lightly, to have her stop and go back above ground.

"Mnaam," Hiai grumbled, having drifted off without really realising it. "Not the bucket- huh?" She flicked her eyes open with sudden clarity and glared at Reks, not much liking being woken up.
"Are you done resting? We should be surfacing soon - we're meeting up with Ryoku and your team in the forest outside Konoha, if he hasn't already run off and left those two to their own devices." The young sand-nin sat up with a soft groan, her arms had gone to sleep from how she'd been sleeping on them. Beside her the younger sand genin were just waking up, being alerted by the sound of speech.
"Are you ok Reks? We weren't sure where to go so I thought that this was best for now."

"We were actually headed to Cloud." Reks responded, with a thoughtful frown on his face, the bubble opening up on the top, keeping it's shape but disintegrating to an upper part of the bubble; they were surfacing on the side of a hill. There were trees and a fresh-breaking sun above on the opposite side of the opening. The sand bed dropped onto the ground, making a small hill on the curved opening in the hill. "Yeah..." He squinted into the morning haze, seeing the suroundings, "I'm fine now..."

Ryoku fell from his little prison unharmed and landed next to the sleeping genin."Where are they?, I hope they didn't go too far." Ryoku looked down, pulled out a marker, and smiled an evil smile.

By this time Hiai's team were wide awake and startled by their surroundings; Shoyu inparticular was taking great pains to irritate.
"Hiai-sensei," she whined, as the older sand-nin looked around carefully, over turning a few leaves and scenting the air.
"Yes, what is it Soy?" Mmm... soy seared salmon... So hungry...
"It's Shoyu, Hiai-sensei, and where are the others?" She looked up at Hiai, who was looking curiously at Reks.
"What? Oh, I don't know. Around and about, I expect-" the jounin shook off her pupil and walked over to the leaf-nin. "Reks, can you find them? I don't know their chakra signatures and I don't know what to look for."

Ryoku Looked at his masterpiece on the Genin."Heh, Lock me up eh?" Ryoku heard some voices coming from a couple meters away.What Luck! I finally invented a useful item! Ryoku thought to himself as he focused some chakra into his left palm."Flash Breaker" Ryoku calmly opened his eyes revealing his sharingan, as fast as the sharingan activated it deactivated,"Oh sh-!" Ryoku shot the flash breaker into the sky, due to his eye malfunction, leaving a bright energy beam.crap, crap, crap, gotta hide, whoever i heard was bound to find this place quickly after seeing such a bright light. ryoku grabbed the genin leaving behind three shadow clones in their place.Ambushing them should be easy since they don't know the exact location to the beam's source. Ryoku thought to himself, the two genin woke up and saw Ryoku having trouble breathing."what?...I get like this when i use too much chakra, I'm human...mostly." Ryoku left the two genin in a confused daze.

Shoyu jumped 5 feet in to the air backwards, and right in to Kenojo's arms, as a huge energy beam shot up in to the sky. Hiai flicked her head around sharply and then sighed after a moment.
"That much power, directed upwards? What a waste. That's the kind of stupid thing Ryoku would do, he probably fell over or something." The sand-nin shook out her hair and sighed again. "That way then, and carefully, Ry's a wildcard and he's clumsy. A kunai aimed as a warning shot will probably hit you in your head." She rolled her eyes disdainfully and Shoyu slipped out of Kenojo's arms blushing like crazy as the taciturn boy merely began to follow his sensei through the trees.

Ryoku readied his aim as then one of the genin stopped him."we'll handle this Ryoku...you just sit and watch, 'kay?" Hannah said.
"All right, just be careful." Ryoku said as he sat on the branch of the tree he magically jumped onto with the two genin.

"Why do I get the impression that I should have kept Ry in a box too?" Hiai muttered, carefully avoiding fallen twigs as she walked deeper in to the forest. "I mean, at least that way he wouldn't run off shooting laser beams at people..." The jounin stopped and made a swift hand signal for her team to stop too, they'd reached the remnants of a camp but there was no one there. No little genin eating the fish by the fire and no Ryoku mucking around. Hiai suddenly got that prickly feeling on the back of her neck and jumped up as a shuriken hit the ground where she'd been standing. She landed in a tree and used her sand to push her team back through the woods, away from the campsite and the unknown attackers.
"I am Yousoku Hiai of the sand," she announced, "cease your hostilities towards me and I shall spare you. My team and I are just looking for some missing comrades. Have you seen them? 3 leafnin, two very young and one more my age?"

"oohh!! Hiai-chan!" Ryoku jumped down from the branch and landed on his face."ow...ow...I meant to do that." Ryoku said getting up."Guys come down, it's Reks and Hiai." Ryoku said."I'm still wondering how i fell on my face...could've sworn my feet touched the ground...oh well"

"Ryoku, there you are!" Hiai jumped down from the tree as her team approached the campsite again. "What do you think you're doing? You were supposed to be waiting for us to arrive and I find you shooting laser beams and throwing shuriken at me?" She glared menacingly, with a less intimidating pout, and began tapping her foot.

"Eh, uh, um...Look a raccoon dog!" Ryoku pointed in the opposite direction Hiai was facing and ran."Okay, I'm sorry, I've heard of rumors of people being attacked by Bandits and such so I wanted to avoid getting attacked and stayed on guard..." Ryoku said scratching the back of his head as he smiled.

"Huh," Hiai raised an eyebrow critically, an amused smirk on the corners of her mouth. "So staying 'on guard' involves not looking at who you're attacking these days? Who knew." The old Hiai wanted to have a b***h fit but the sparkly new leaf-influenced Hiai was more forgiving so the whole team gathered together once Reks' team were down from the tree.
"So, we're headed towards Cloud?" Kenojo asked politely, "Which way is that from here?" Hiai puzzled for a moment, trying to find her bearings in the forest before looking to Reks and Ryoku, knowing that would recognise the area of their own village's forest better than she would.
