JoVo I bet you didn't know I was an occultist, a theologian, a monk, a political theorist, a martial artist, or a philosopher either, huh? xp Occultist doesn't surprise me, I figured you were at least interested in theology and politics, I think I saw something about you and martial arts, philosopher is a given. 3nodding

So writer was the odd man out, huh? Yup, I'm a writer. Until now, I've mostly done serials. I recently forayed into poetry, which taught me a lot but didn't catch my attention. I finished my first short story, but I think I want to end up doing screenwriting. That's my current aim, although I also see myself doing some shorts and working on a couple of novels.

Screenwriting? That'd be cool. I'm no good with those word things. I just take pictures.
Q wants me to pass this message along to you, JoVo: Are you sure you want to go into screen writing? I've tried it and I've gotta tell ya, it's WAY worse and harder than regular writing, because there's so many rules on capitalization and grammar. It's like it's own language. That, and if you put in more adjectives than "beautiful" or "handsome" it's automatically thrown out.

There's actually a handbook, though you don't actually hold it with one hand because it's too big, published each year that details the rules that screenwriters must go by when writing. They are far stricter than the rules most other editors go by, but they, in turn, also publish books of grammar rules. It's annoying, but not impossible to do. That's why proof-reading is so important.

Whoa. I was in the journalism club back in high school. They had a lot of weird grammar rules to follow. It was quite intimidating.

I already know four languages, and I can write in six if I count the dialects of English and French. What's another form? xp

Would it be horribly obnoxious of me to just fill the thread with song lyrics? Yes, probably. Okay. *beats down the complusion to do so* Just know that...the song "Petrified?" from the "Taboo" soundtrack -- I love that song. Love that song...
