SugarBeat_Angel But no, I did not buy my mom Pocky because I knew she wouldn't share. So instead, HeroicStar and I made her breakfast, cleaned the kitchen, front room, and the dishes... And made my siblings clean their rooms. Then we served her breakfast in bed. Aww... Side Story:>> Hero put the wrong kind of soap in the dish washer, and so it bubbled out onto the kitchen floor. He was so upset he thought he ruined everything. Little did he know I was planning on mopping the floor anyways... So he killed two birds with one stone... And I proceeded to dance across the floor, bare foot with the mop, in a mini mini skirt, while listening to Malice Mizer... It was quite a sight. I was sliding and singing and on my knees during the really dramatic parts where Tetsu is singing his heart out in the ballads, singing into the mop... And needless to say, I got a good bath. Then we got towels and slid across the floor to dry it. Much fun... Side Story 2:>> In case you're wondering why my boyfriend is celebrating Mother's Day with my mother... It is because he moved in. YAY! And his mother moved out of town. (Sad for him but... YAY for me!) So that is why...

Koukon_Tenshi Zetan Heh.. I'm kinda the other way around. Partly because you can get books for free at a library anyway. Partly because the author is dead and so buying it won't benefit him anyway. And partly because I've already bought two copies of "The Complete Hitchhiker's Guide," which has all five stories in it, plus I plan on buying another copy of it. Long story there. In any case, if you want to download them, think of it as borrowing one of my 2-3 copies, and delete them afterwards. That way it's just borrowing. Well, usually I see it as the author put a lot of work into the book, and then you are just taking a copy of it. But don't you think that's the same with music? EDIT: Sorry, didn't see your reply to Zetan.

Zetan Not to mention, again, the author is dead, and so not benefiting from it being purchased anyway. He really probably wouldn't mind you downloading his work, epsecially at this point. So I really wouldn't worry about downloading it once to read it then deleting it again. Or just borrowing it from a library. But his estate, or whoever bought the rights to it would still benefit. But yeah, as long as I delete it after I'm done I wouldn't feel too bad about downloading it.

Mikono Koukon_Tenshi Mikono Whoo! HitchHickers Guide! I have the bible edition! Has anyone else read Salmon of Doubt? Theres a great section in there about how he doesn't care if you download his book, seeing as how you can't stop at one, will read all 6 books of the trilogy, and then buy a copy for your friend who doesn't believe in downloading books. What is it about?Salmon of Doubt was the folder he kept random short tidbits, not really stories... He had 1 1/2 pages on the proper making of tea... a rather large bit on hicking up a mountain in a blue rhino suite... Really random stuff. In my opinion, its worth picking up. That sounds really funny xd

Koukon_Tenshi Zetan Koukon_Tenshi Well, usually I see it as the author put a lot of work into the book, and then you are just taking a copy of it.
Another copy? @.@ Musical artists put a hell of a lot of work into their music, but you said you have no problem with downloading that. What's the difference? I know they do ~_~ I guess I'm just use to downloading music and that I value books more x.x' Well, I've always been a strong believer in being consistant with your morals. If something is wrong for a reason, there are other things that are wrong for the same reason. If you can come up with a reason for it being okay, it'd better be a good one. Otherwise you're becoming the same as the people you critisize, like religious zealots and the like.

Koukon_Tenshi Zetan Or just borrowing it from a library. LIBRARY?! WHERE!? *Hides*
*Cough* I just found the book that has been missing from my local public library for two years.......Well... on the plus side, the biggest late fee they can charge you is the cost of the book.
