Her answer was a good start, in that it raised a dozen more questions. "You're talking to Eclipse? Was that the voice I just heard? What's happened to him?" Obviously from her tone there was no trouble, but something was certainly odd that he didn't recognize. "I take it that the barrier was nothing to be concern with then?" His question was promptly answered by its collapse.

Bastet laughed and looked over to Aura, "I guess she will wake up soon too." Then she walked over to the door and opened it, slipping by Saradin, "Hello Saradin, the barrier was just to make sure no one interferred. And yes, Eclipse can think out loud now so translaters wont be needed." She bent down and scratched him on the head. "You can beg verbally now Clipsy."

Assesing the information was an interesting task. First Eclipse, "So, he can talk now?" Then naturally on to Aurahkah's condition, "What happened to them? I take it she will recover just fine?" Then back to Eclipse. He knelt and pet the wolf's fur. "Finally have a voice of your own now?"

Eclipse leaned into Saradin's hand, his wings slacking a moment. "I guess so. But it doesn't change me...I just have to be careful what I think..er...say from now on. Then he looked to Bastet. "Dont' worry, I'll beg extra just for you Kitty."

"I'm sure you will Eclipse, and you will be more annoying than usual." She looked to Saradin and leaned against the wall, "Aurahkah bonded with Eclipse, they are now merged souls. Aura should wake up soon and be fine." She thought about whether Aura would be able to speak animal, since Eclipse can think out loud.

Vincent made his way threw the dark first. Something was definitely wrong here, everything seemed darker then it normally did and everything held an ominous feel to it, It seemed as tho the very trees themselves were watching him, waiting for him to drop his guard even the slightest so they could attack but it didn't end there the forest was too quiet, all the animals were gone. A light breeze whipped threw the threes whispering a something" mannnoganu olbond relay tarksin catuluhu" those words send a shiver down even Vincents spine.
He traveled deeper into the forest not having the common sense to just leave well enough alone, looks like someone went threw a lot of trouble to get me out here, wouldn't want to disappoint them as he got deeper the smell of fresh blood fulled the air, he was getting close.

Aura awoke slowly, her head aching. She closed her yes again at he nauseous feeling she had.
Eclipse looked from Saradin to Aura over his wings."Give yourself a moment, it'll pass."
She smiled slightly. "You're alright?"
He laughed. "Yes. And I hope you're happy with your mark. I finally decided on what I wanted. Where once scars from your lashing were on your back, my mark has erased those as if they never existed, replacing then with the outlined image of feathered wings one on each shoulder blade that runs from your shoulder blade to the small of your back."
She smiled eyes still closed. "Thoughtful of you...why do you sound different?"

"At least now I won't be uninformed of your antics." Saradin was still worried for Aurah, but at least she was awake now. "He seems to be able to communicate more openly now... As if speaking."

Bastet looked back in the room and over to Aura, "You are awake finally, Eclipse woke up almost immediately. Oh, and he sounds different because he is thinking aloud. Stay still for a minute if you do not feel well."

Aura shook her head, opening her eyes and sat up. "Thinks out loud?" She laughed. "Now none of us will ever hear the end of his ramblings. I feel like I was hit with a ton of bricks." She stood, a little wobbly for a few seconds. "I'm sorry if I frightened anyone, I didn't know about that passing out part...."

"Yes, you were not aware of any of it. I contented myself with the fact that you were breatheing, and that you were just tired from the process. I hope there are no bad effects from this besides Eclipses ramblings being heard." Bastet smiled then scratched behind an ear and played with it in a thoughtful motion.

"Other than the obvious effects, what will this soul bond do to both of you?" Saradin had gotten little infromation on the subject, but knew something of the topic already. "Have either of you lost any individuality? Are your minds held together any closer, as well as your souls?"

"Yes that was quite a side effect wasn't it." He laughed again.
Aura turned her attention to Saradin. "No nothing drastic like that. He's still him, I'm still me. Our mind link hasn't changed at all, but apparently we do share some of each other's powers..I guess that's why he can speak-"
"I bet you can do some wicked shadow stuff."
"Don't interrupt. Basically the only thing that has really changed is that Eclipse's existence depends on mine, or rather both of ours on my bracelet. Now we won't have to worry about any thing that can cancel magic harming him, though he is still composed of shadows."

"I agree with Eclipse, try doing some shadow stuff, or raising some better barriers." Bastet patted Eclipse on the head once more and then headed to the library. Recent events had her intrigued.

"Fascinating." This sounded to work out as quite the improvement in ability, possibly for both of them if Aurahkah did in fact gain some dark powers. But at the same time, would she now also know that same temptation in the back of her mind? "Just make sure you take care of yourselves. You didnt know about passing out and there may be other unforseen side effects."
