"...!!" Mickey jumped up, keeping some distance between her and the creature. Still, she watched it carefully, trying to determine if it was friendly or not.

"You could atlest try to eat with some manners,"Nariko hissed at Claw. It seemed like the women was trying to pick a fight with Claw over every little thing.

The animal snorted, rising onto all four paws now. It puffed out its red fur, making itself looked larger. Like Mickey, it was trying to determine if she was going to make another move.

Mickey took a tentative step towards the creature. How dangerous could it be? For all she knew, it might have been harmless.

"Well how was I suppose to know what you two were doing. It's not like I can see what's going on before I teleport."Nariko retorted. It was hard enough to teleport by scent, it was easier to teleport based on memory. She tried several times to teleport back to Claw's house by rembering what it looked like, but that didn't seem to work.

"You could have meet up with us back here like it was planned!" Claw yelped at her. He flung the remainds of the fruit in the lake. "I mean, seriously! Why didn't you do as planed?"

The creature puffed out its coat again, and bared the rest of its teeth. It made small grunts, then took a wary step back.

Mickey took another step back when the creature reacted. She sighed slightly, the lowerd herself to a crouch so she wouldn't seem so threatening. "I won't hurt you," she said sweetly.

((Claw: wait... YOU CAN GET PAID?! eek ))
"Yeah, right." Claw muttered sarcastically, rolling his eyes again. "It's more of a disaster now that we can't find Mickey. She could get eaten or something." His voice lacked the proper concern that it needed to truly sound sincere.
It howled again, this time more quiet. It continued to watch Mickey warily, with it's red fur thickened out, and it's tail standing straight up, but it made a move to the girl. There weren't many creatures as strange as her around here...

"Trust me, mickey's not as helpless as you Claw."Nariko replied back. Mickey could control nature, she'd be fine.

Mickey held her hand out, palm up, low to the ground. "Come on, don't be shy," she said, though she highly doubted it would understand her.

The beast's short snout wrinkled up, as it bared its teeth again. It didn't look like that thing blocking tis tree would be moving anytime soon... It let loose another one of its grunt-like-howls, and took a step back. It was unsure what to make of the stranger.
Claw moved his mouth to mock Nariko's words. "When she comes back missing a leg, ti's not my fault."
