Bastet pet Eclipse lightly, and looked to Aura. "No responses even to teasing? You are serious. Then why, may I ask are you trying something you are not sure of? I will do what has been requested but, I want to know."

" You can tease me all you want afterwords. You've heard the short version of the spirit synthesis that I was planning. I just left out all the details. When doing this, me and Eclipse are pretty much left soulless and vulnerable for a moment. I believe it to be good to have someone around, and even if something does go wrong, rest assured that you are not responsible. I am merely doing this for Eclipse, thats' the only answer I can give you."

Bastet raised an eyebrow, "Do not worry, nothing should go wrong because I believe that you can do it. And if something does go wrong I will try my best to help, do not get cold with me now Aurahkah. I am merely concerned, but start when you are ready."

Saradin was busy with to much thought to sleep properly. So, he was again keeping himself going by caffine flood. So filled with black coffee, almost full pot still in hand; mug in the other, he simply listened to the night. There was some incomprehensible feeling in the air tonight. Something of a dark nature, or at least involving those powers.

Bastet shifted a little uneasily then played with her tail some. "Whenever you are ready. " Having not anticipated the barrier, she just watched and waited hoping everything would be alright.

Concern racing his mind for what may or may not be going on, Saradin refilled his mug and headed out into the halls. It was better to not let this feeling encroach him before he understood it, no need to overreact. Searching for the source was his first and only objective for now.

Aura nodded and sighed, letting herself fall back into the well of her magic. "I Aurahkah, call a bonding of spirits. I choose to bear the mark of the winged wolf Eclipse, to host his spirit with mine." Spoken in any other language the words would of meant nothing but in this one, the two took on a colored aura, red around Aura, blue around Eclipse. "Upon his word I call this bond. Let two fuse to one and thrive upon one another. Let a mark be placed and selves intertwined, says I, the bond caller."
Both Aura's and Eclipse's eyes went blank. The colored waves of energy around them gathered in front of each of them to form glowing orbs. The two orbs met, mixing together, colors merging to a deep purple single orb. Moments that one orb split to two, one returning to each of them, purple aura's surrounding them both then disappearing. Their eyes slid shut and each collapsed where they stood.

Bastet moved instantly seeing them collapse. She went and caught Aura first and checked to see that she was breathing and had a pulse. "Hopefully you are just tired. Because I wont forgive you if it is anything else." She picked her up and put her on the bed gently. Then she went to Eclipse and found that he was breatheing. Did he ever do that before? She picked him up and placed him at the foot of the bed. Then she plopped in a chair to wait, not even noticing that she was stuck in there anyway.

Something was familiar about the movement of energy that he felt. It involved someone he knew. Naturally, he knew that it could only involve Eclipse, but felt something else in it. Someone else's power was merged and mixed with his. It was a strange sensation, the Eclipse he had known and could feel around the house was suddenly slightly different. The first place he searched now was Aurahkah's bedroom. He reached out to knock on her door, but his hand was halted at the touch of a magical barrier. "Excuse me, has something happened?"

Eclipse stirred ever so slightly and lifted his head, shaking it as if to clear it. It hurt. Aurahkah had never mentioned that. "Ow...my head...ow....Aurahkah's head. She failed to mention that part..." He whimpered and fluffled his wings. Then looked to Bastet who was sitting in a chair. 'You alright?'

"Oh I am fine Eclipse-" Bastet looked over to Eclipse and squinted one eye slightly shocked, "You are aware that you just spoke out loud? So it worked fine and I guess it is a result of the merging of the spirits. How are you feeling?" Bastet grinned then shouted towards the door, "Everythings alright Saradin, I am just talking to Eclipse."

The wolf blinked. He was speaking? But his muzzled didn't even twitch. So, now he was thinking out loud now, and could still conduct private thoughts? This must of been what she meant by a power sharing. He pawed his collar on the bed next to him and slipped it on. He stumble doff the edge of the bed and to the door, touching his nose to the barrier, dispelling it. "A little nauseous."
