Banshi Jon-OH except that it's loyal, protects the grounds, fetches my slippers AND newspaper, and has a cappichino machine in its back. gonk I've been replaced by something that has a built in cappuccino machine! crying what replaced? I didn't say that it hugged me around my knees in public, rubbed against me at odd points during the day, curls up and sleeps on my feet during the night after I expressly tell her not to sneak into my room again... did I?? You're hardly being replaced, there's no reason to feel insecure.

Thaddeus Tachibana Kiba Archlord Better, stronger, faster. You're talking about me over that.. that.. robot.. THING, right? Check it out... Tachi's calling our robo-dog a " thing". ... Hey, do you taste that? Mmmm... irony. ninja Irony? No no, dear Thaddeus. Robo-dog is a thing. It's an object. It has artificial intellegence. Built by hands of ordinary men. I'm not an object. I have organic, genuine intellegence, built by a greater Entity. I have a life. I'm my own wolf. *Firm nod.* Nothing is better than the real thing. And you cant contradict what I say. I'm right. It's fact.

This just in!
It was recently discovered by Top Secret MSU Operatives implanted deep within Santa's compound, that Santa Claus, is in fact, a monster. The AstralSamurai, outraged by the turn of events, has decided to come out of retirement for this once in a lifetime event: A Duel with "Saint" Nick in the Snowfields of northern Alberta. Santa was reported as saying, "I'm gunna squash me some monster slayer and turn 'im into soup!"
Terms of the challenge have not been agreed upon, but it is safe to assume that this will be a no-holds barred match, and there may or may not be one or more nuclear detonations involved.
Stay tuned for the next chapter in Epic Holiday History! eek

Hmmm, you know we've had our eye on Santa for a while now, always thought there was something alittle off about him. Good to know that that is finaly settled, and i hope he's taken care of.
Oh, and don't worry Tachi, no matter how many wonderful cup of Mocha Latee half-calf Oragne' that thing can whip up, it'll never taste like sushi, so your safe wuffie!

The fact that this holiday season is an abomination against God, Man, and Breakfast Pastries. Ah.. never thought about that. Though I have noticed that more and more people are forgetting the reason we 'celebrate' this 'holiday'. I've also noticed the manger scenes in peoples' decerations. Not too many people have them anymore. Breakfast pastries.. eh.. kay. >> Rictus> I bet I could make a better Coffee/Cappuccino than it, too.. But.. thanks. crying

Tachi: I don't think that there has really been a noticable change in the number of... *Checks state of residence* Ohhhhh. Kata: Nope, Santa is more like a pink sugar energy creature in the body of an old, fat man. While your example was known to journey with Santa in days long past in a foreign land they were effectively opposites. It was much easier to determine that the one with the infinately long tounge was a monster so people set out to slay him long ago. With the loss of his partner, Saint Nick shoulderred the burder of all the children and decided to just leave the naughty group with a piece of coal and a chunk of dissapointment but rarely lived up to this promise. But as society changes and the world moves on the values of the past often remain in the past and the people of the current day adopt new ones. If the practices of old cannot at least slowly morph into something that portrays these values those practices are doomed to be overrun by newer ideas that reflect what people are concerned about.
So if the Shadow Government would just tell people what to think and silence the speakers of new ideals we could celebrate these traditions as they were originally intended instead of in a way that reflects our lives.
