I have gottan so far,
So very far.
I left the road behind me,
Along with the light.
I have lost the way,
I can't see anymore.
I trip, I tumble,
I bump into the trees.
The sky is cloudy,
on this cold night,
The moon is gone,
Nothing reveals my path.
I am losing the feeling
of my legs, my arms,
and my heart.
I hardly feel the bumps now.
I know I am hurt,
I can smell the blood,
But I don't care,
I still try to find the light.
I will never give up,
I will never lay down and die.
