"I see. I'd heard of CASEs, but never really understood what they were. Thanks for the info. I'll have to decide whether or not I'll be a long range heavy artillery type, or a medium range heavy combat type. That'll decide if I really need a CASE or not, or whatever other kind of equipment I'll need."
The craft returned to the Fury, and the Wiseduck was loaded into the docking bay.
"By the way, how's the situation out there. Any hostiles?"

((Ok, seeing a Andries hasn't been here to move it along, I will. The Dante's Fury has met us at the rendevous point and another wave of enemy units is approaching her fom both starboard and below (is there a term for that), and of corse we defend!))

((did some research, Keel is for Terseartial ships. Ventral Hull for subs and starships))
"I'm picking up scout ship with mech back up. More Phoenix types, and a platoon or two of Commando Space types. Several boarding craft inbound as well." Issac said somewhat flustered and pissed. "Where the HELL is the calvary, don't they come to the good guy's rescue about now?"

"are you forgetting? we have zero's firepower to wipe out half of em, not to mention i can handle about half a platoon of commandos by myself" auron said, rapidly typing in commands for his mech "Isaac, Zero, Falen, get ready, this is going to get hectic" auron said, stopping his spin and jetting onto the fury "i'll try and knock out some of the boarding craft, you guys just handle the soldiers" auron said, swinging his beam rifle into position, and firing a salvo from his gatling guns and beam rifle at one boarding ship

The Slyph's thrusters shone light a beacon before shoving the mech through space towards the oncoming force. "Just try not to hit me too much during your bombardments!" Nateal yelled as the two red blades extended and he began his flurry of slashes damaging mechs here and there as he flew by at high speed.

"I'm still sitting here waiting for my repairs to be compeleted. Tell you what, I'll hang out insaide the Fury and wait for the enemy infiltrators...."
Falen paused a moment as she contemplated what she had just said.
"I'm in a simulator... Appearantly it's all to realistic. Okay, I'll just hack the system..."

"Prioritize the boarding craft, they are the biggest threat. Take out anything along the way. The Commandos will probably retreat if they have nothing to protect, they just don't have the firepower to take us all on." The Monster walked over the edge of the bow, but instead of falling as it would in normal gravity, it just awkwardly tipped over until the magnetic clamps took hold of the hull again. "Issac, give yourself 30 seconds of fun before pulling out of my line of fire. Your sensors will tell you when you are clear."

Issac switched ammo types agian. This time he switched to a rapid fireing Titainuim spike with a Copper core, at the speeds that spike was accelerated to the copper core vaporized, upon hitting the enemy armor the spike would deform and heat due to the speed and pressure from impacting the armor, Thus rupturing and spraying a super heated copper vapor inside the mech, or in this case boarding craft. It was also belt fed for fast fireing. Issac squeezed the triger in controlled bursts. Three pods lit up and a fourth was leaking atmosphere.
He noted that he had seven seconds left and planted Grendals hands on the hull of The Dante's Fury and swung himself into a CWIS cut out in the hull.
"I'm clear," he said, and just for kicks he added "Call down the thunder!"
Switching ammo types again, shredder rounds, he picked off 4 more pods in quick succesion.

"Roger...firing full spread." It was quite a site seeing the Monster in motion. Each of the four artillery cannons moved independently as they aligned themselves for a direct line of fire, the arm-mounted laser cannons were glowing as energy was gathering to strike, and there were several hidden ports open on the Monster's limbs where the micro-missile launchers were. For those watching, a bright flash appeared before the laser beams could be visible firing into the crowd of oncoming forces. Many blossoms of fire appeared along the beam as Commandos, Phoenixes, and broading pods alike burned from the intense heat. As the beams died down, the 4 artillery shells fired down the freshly made path, bearing straight for the scout ship. As they reached the ship, a few Commandos and Phoenixes gathered to stop the shells, but they only stopped one as it impacted the enemy group, blowing everything around it to pieces. The remaining shells impacted the scout, 2 shells exploding on the exterior while one shell managed to penetrate the hull, leaving the ship scrapped aswell. Finally, the micro missiles launch to pick of the units that managed to get uncomfortably close to the ship. Zero even needed to use the 70mm to throw a couple pods off course so they would miss the ship.

"hey zero" auron says, lowering his beam rifle "remind me never to piss you off" he says, smiling as he folds his gatling guns back over his shoulders "so, i guess that about does it then?" auron asks, turning his mech towards zero

Falen said through the intercomm as the Wiseduck rode back up through the hatch. She opened up her scanners to look for enemies.

"We still have yet yo tackle the ones coming for 'below' the ship." Issac stomped Grendal across the hull and took aim wih his coil gun. A shredder round flew towards the incoming Commandos, the shredderrounds bust mid-flight and thousands of tiny steel spheres tore away at them. One of the Commandos was turned into swiss cheese as the reactor went critical, not all of them were as lucky. Some had there thrusers shorn off and were spinning into the black, others took a shot to the cockpit and were venting atmosphere. One Commando, badly damaged, managed to touch down on The Dante's Fury, it was soon blown away by the point-defence guns.
"One more round left, I might wanna save it." Issac switched back over to the standard ferric sphere that fed his coilgun "Falen, do ya still want some kills? If you do get your altered-butt* down here!"
((*was gonna say other-worldly butt, but you changed the charater profile. I thought it interesting on how you had a sword'n'sorcery kinda charater in a mech))

Falen walked the Wiseduck underside the Fury, scanning for enemies in the area. Locking onto a group of commandos coming up towards the Fury, she unloaded a spread of rockets. A couple commandos went sailing off course from the explosions. Three who came close were then fallen victim to the Wiseduck's Gatling gun. Their scraps sprayed against the hull of the fury.
"Alright, it's fun time, bring it on. Seriously where's the pain?"
(Falen's original character was a drow knight, but she's not a magic user. Andreis and Ermor didn't like it, so I made her an altered human. And really, magic in the mecha world doesn't even scratch it with me anymore.
... did that sound like bragging?...)

"Boarding pods are still inbound," Issac targeted one and aimed for the port fuel lines, Ruby red lasers lanced out from Grendal's torso. The small explosion did nothing but the secondary explosions tore the pod apart, sending chunks of hull and shrapnal every where. Two more were coming in on the same vector passed through the wreckage and afixed them selves to the hull of The Dante's Fury. The pods opened and more Commando's steped out, they're shields raised and weapons armed.
"Ah HELL!!" Issac yelled and fired twice into one of the Commandos, the weapons arm was shorn right off of the mech while the other round impacted into the right knee, damaging it severaly. The crippled Commando drifted into his buddy's line of fire.
