So for training, at least in the academy, the way of leveling up is different? So we don't count the posts or are we going to get an update based on what the mods think?

As I said a while back, it's a rubric the moderators do not release.

Ah, sorry. I'm a little slow, and well betwee transferring schools and what not, I'm bound to miss important posts. So as long as we don't likk ourselves then we can practice any kidou, or hakudo we want, or do those rules apply too?

'likk'?
Anyway. From what I understand, we can learn any technique we want (be it zanjutsu, kidou, or hakudou), but we cannot use or master it until our statistics and abilities master it. I haven't heard anything on the requirements, if any, for learning and mastering anything that isn't kidou.

Question: As this is based loosely off of the D20 system, are there still Sneak Attacks/Attacks of Opportunity, ETC.?

From what I understand, those types of attacks are not being allowed.

Sneak Attacks, AoO's, and the like, are not allowed, as those haven't been written into the system we're using. It's loosely based off d20, but there are some differences, all developed by Kenkaru, Myself, and Paradox.

Point Distribution Question-For every + to a base attribute, do we have to spend more points according to the addition bonus to raise the attribute-Example: 16 STR, +3 bonus-spend 2 additional points for a total cost of 3 points to raise character attribute to 17? Or is it just 1 point to raise these stats? If it's the latter, does that change to the previously mentioned as we go on?
This is the only thing holding me back from finishing the statistics of my character-figuring whether or not this is based off of the D&D point distribution system or not-I'm just a tad confused with this-otherwise, I believe I've got the rest down. Long-time D&D, WoD player.

I got a quick question. Is "airwalking" going to be a skill that shinigami have to learn to use in the real world, or will they be able to just use it?

You'll probably be able to use it if you have a certain amount of reiatsu control and reiatsu. I'm guessing.

I'm going to follow along with Tsai, in terms of 'air walking'.
Point distribution is 1 for 1, rather than x for 1, like AD&D. The system never changes, as Shinigami are considered somewhat epic, but in the future, stat caps will be implemented.
And don't worry about being confused, I'm also a long time D&D player, only I've played 2e, so the drastic switch over to a 3e style threw me for a loop, and I'm one of the guild mods. xD

Ahhhh, thank you, thank you-AD&D is something I haven't really tried, so to have that clarified is a load off of my mind.

In the Rukongai area the story is moving to, are we going to spawn our own opponents and fight them? If so, is there a set plate of rules we have to go by in creation?
If no, how is it going to work?

The mods assign us targets based on our levels, skills, and abilities whee Although, it should technically be an unfair advantage if, say, we fight citizens of the Rukongai (as they are supposed to have 0 Reiatsu). I haven't gathered too much information on the actual forces attacking, but it seems to me like there has been some form of recruitment going on by the hell shinigami...
Anyway... An over-analysis later, I think I answered the question... We don't create our own targets 3nodding
