Jack walks into the room with an annoyed look on his face. He sees the teacher and storms up to her. He takes out the bangle he was given and points at her. "Hey Teacher! Tell me why I cant get rid of this thing! I threw it out the window atleast twenty times and it keeps reappearing in my bag!" he said with an equally annoyed tone.

Shauna walks into the room with a smile, eager to meet new people. "Hi everybody! My names Shauna and Im a new student here! Nice to meet you all!" She looks closer to see a girl examining something and a boy yelling at the teacher. She runs up to the boy and pulls him back for being so mean at the teacher. "Hey, I dont think you should be acting that way towards the teacher. Its sooo rude." She turns to the teacher. "Are you ok ma'am?"

Jack flies backwards from the new girl and falls down. "Huuh? Hey! What the hell!" He gets up and walks up to the new girl. "Just who the hell do you think you are! Talking about being 'so rude.' You dont think throwing someone you never met is rude?" He grabs his bangle and holds it up. "Im trying to get answers here! So dont interupt." He said angerly. The bangle starts to glow red.

"Why so mean?" 'Hmm... a tough guy, eh? Well, I know how to cool those types off. He wont even see it coming.' she thought. She lunges at him and before he has ay time to react, she gives him a hug.

Jack stood still, shocked by the sudden act. "Ehh? Huh?" He was too confused to think of anything to do. He just stood there with a confused face, blushing a little. All of his anger suddenly went away and the bangle stopped glowing.

She let go of him and stepped back. "There. All better?" she said with a smile. She turned around and took a seat.

Kanna laughed at the little display and said, "Welcome Shauna...please call me Kanna...and as to the reason why you can't get rid of the bangle...Think of it as an enchantment I guess...I may have kept the bangles all these times...But in the end...the bangle chooses its wearer..." said Kanna, cheerfully.

Jack, still shocked, looked at the teacher. "Huh? Oh ok. Thanks." he said as if his reason to argue had suddenly slipped away. He quietly walked back and took a seat.

Shauna looked at the Ms. Kanna and smiled. "See, much better now, huh? I knew he would calm down after that." She gave a thumbs up to her. "To bad you cant do that, right? By the way this guy was, I bet hes like that all the time."

Myles watches the new girl defuse Jack and giggles. Then looks disgusted with himself for doing it and facepalms.
He steps away from the diagnostic device for moment for introductions. "Hello Shauna. My name's Myles, and you've already met Jack," he says, pointing him out.

"Well, I've just found a pretty high-class temporospatial claudication attatched to it. An otherspace pocket, a really fancy one, too. Storage of some kind? Only one way to find out."
He takes the bangle and puts it on, experimenting with it. "From what I saw, there's got to be some sort of conceptual trigger. You think of the right image to activate it." And he closes his eyes, thinking. "It's got to be something simple..."
