Demitry looked at Aysel, she was worried. He closed his eyes and rested his head against the door of Carrie's house. He looked out suddenly into the streets. "There's something close. Something...not human."

Carrie grabbed his hand and started to wald back down the path. Untill they were out of the woods she kept glancing behind them.

"Carrei, don't worry. I won't let anything hurt you. I promise," he whispered pulling her close to his side as they walked. "Demitry will know what's going on. We should hurry."

"Something is close to us, a few streets, I think. The worse part is...it's not human," he replied looking down both sides of the street.
Tommy instinctively pulled Carrie closer to him. He didn't even notice he'd done so. "So, how strong is it?"
"I don't know."

"Didn't think so..." Carrie shook slightly and was glad Tommy had pulled her to him. "Do you know what it is?"

Demitry stared, his eyes didn't hold any emotion at all. He was obviously concentrating very hard on whatever was coming. He closed his eyes and leaned against the door.
"Demitry..?" Tommy whispered. "Now is not the time for relaxing."
"I'm not relaxing, I'm concentrating. Trying to figure out what's out there." He looked up and shook his head. "I can't get anything. Our best bet is to pull our powersfor a barrier."

"And now would be a good time to do it." Carrie could here something moving not far from where they where. Closing her eyes Carrie calmed herself down and looked at the other three.

Demitry closed his eyes and breathed very slowly for a moment. he opened his eyes and they were a deep, glowing earthy green. Carrie hadn't noticed but Tommy had done the same, but his were white, almost transparent. Demitry looked at Carrie and Aysel.
"C'mon guys. Hurry. We don't have much time." Demitry nodded at Carrie, he could tell she was a little scared.

Carrie's whole posture changed as she closed her eyes as well, opening them to revel a bright redorange fire. "Kay" She stopped listening to the steps and focused on her power waiting for Aysel.
