Raven gave a small half smile.
"No. Actually you're only the second peson I've told. You and some Zephel kid from the old school. I don't know...I just seem to trust you for some reason..." she trailed off again, as she has the tendincy to do.
She drew her knees to her chest and rested her head on them. She was getting the worst headache, as usually happened after a Zak encounter.

"wait a damn minute, you know zephel?"He asked raven. Just the zeph was enough to make him start asking questions about the guy. He wanted him dead thats for sure. But right now he just wondered what raven knew about zephel. "when did you meet him? were you friends or enemies with him?"He asked right after he if she knew zephel.

Raven jumped a few inches from the sudden ubruptness of Derra.
"W-we were friends. I knew him from the old Ria...we were friends. I'm guessing you aren't fond of him?" it was more of a retorical question, but she let it linger.
She pulled out her silver kama and whispered a few words. The blade immediatly turned to pure ice and she pressed the blade to her forehead.

"i'm not fond of him at all. Actully...wish he was dead."He said with a sgh as he stopped talking. He didn't want to continue talking about zephel. Derra turned his head to look at raven and noticed that she was putting an ice on her on head."whats with the sudden headache?"He asked raven wondering what caused her the headache.

"Ah. Pity. I don't see why all the animosity between people, but I'm pretty damn sure you have a reason and you don't have to talk about it either although I'd be a liar if I said I wasn't curious," she said.
"Oh, I usually get them after an encounter with Zak. It's just that our powers and our energy is so alike that it clashes and mixes and s**t like that. It really sucks and it's another reason I try to avoid him."

"Alot eople arer uaslly curouis."Derra explained. He looked at the girl when she talked about her brother. To him it seemd the guy was crazy for sure."anyway....ah s**t."He said as he stood up and clenched his chest."almost forgot..."Derra said in a weaend tone."blood, it's been almost a week sine i've drank."He said as he pulled out a bag of blood he had from a hospital. He quickly drank t but it wasn't enough. He had already drank from that bag. "s**t..."He said as things got a lttle blurry.

Without even thinking Raven pulled the knife out of her sleeve and made a long deep cut down her forearm; a head to tail cut on a fish. She stood and held her arm out to him.
"Here, I'm immune so it's okay," she said softly remembering when she used to have to do this for her brother, but quickly banished those thoughts.

Derra quickly looked at the kinfe when she pulled it out. When she cut hersel and he saw the blood his narrowed a bit. ?but then turned back to normal. He kenw he had to control himself becuase f not he could bite the girl by mistake. he sat in front of her and looked at her arm. He wasn't ure how to drink from her arm that was cut open. He had never really done that before. Actully he has arely ever bitten aybody for blood."how...do I drink...it?"He ased weakly.

Raven looked confused for a moment.
"Just drink I guess, I don't know. If it's easier for you then..." she scrunged her nose and the cut healed over, "...then just puncture the vein yourself.
She held out her wrist to him.
She braced herself for the bite and the shock that usually comes with the whole blood getting ripped from your body thing.

"uh ok."Derra sayed. Nobody would offer blood that way, but since he needed it badly and the only donor was raven he took the chance. He quickly bit the her arm and it felt strange. It didn't matter though, he was getting the blood he needed. Some blood dripped on the floor and some was on the side of his mouth. When he stopped. He felt like going back to bite again but he stopped him self and looked up at raven."thank you. It actually tastes better then the crappy medical blood."He complimented though he had no idea how complimenting the taste of ones blood was even a compliment to begin with.

"Don't mention it," she said healing over the two puncture wounds.
"Thats because the hospitals spike it with stuff. Extra iron and proteins...and because humans are under the ignorant cloud that vampires will kill us all, they put in a slight sedetive that most don't even notice. Don't ask how I know this because I surely wont tell," she added hastily.
She rubbed her wrist to get cirrculation back into it and sat down again.
"Now that that whole thing is over..." she sighed and rested the back of her head against the wall.

"I knew that had to have put some extra crap that i ddn't need."He said with a sigh. When she mentioned sedetive derra quickly looked at raven. He knew that she said not to ask how she knew but she never said what she knew."wait, what sedetive?"He asked he girl as he wiped the blood he had around his lips. When he had bitten raven it was weird to him. He had never bitten an arm execpt his own, plus the skin made t feel strange to be biting an arm. He shook his head to shake off the thoughts of what just happened and waited for raven.

"Well what do most sedetives do? They calm you although I'm sure there was an anti-craving thingy in there too. It wouldn't surprise me," she sighed again. She had been doing that a lot lately and made a mental note to stop.
"It really isn't anything to worry about. It wont harm you any. It's just the government or whatever being paranoid. Although I suppose I would be pissed too if I was getting fed some s**t I didn't know about...." she fell into her famous habit of trailing off and closed her eyes.
A light breeze had picked up and it was a warmish night out. There were no clouds and the full moon was bright in the sky. It was one of those rare, perfect nights.

"thats why i've been going a week wthout blood. Man thats annoying becuase when they wear off all of a sudden i'm weak and hungary. Tomorrow i won't be surrised if i'm thirsty again since yu blood is normal."He told raven. He looked up at the full moon and felt like falling aslep. His hands dropped to his sides as he stared at the moon."Awsome..."he whispeared as he looked at the full moon.

"Most likely," she replied.
"It really can be beautiful can't it? It just proves though that beauty isn't always what it seems to be..." she opened her eyes and wrapped a small clothe around the silver blade to stop it from reacting to the moon as it was making the annoying humming noise again.
